This should be the third one if they have it again. There's no guarantee that they will have another prom, but it is very likely that they will have it. It should be sometime in May. I can't remember exactly when it is, but I think the prom forums are still around in the forums somewhere.

	Mademoiselle Alvinette @Scorch: You're welcome! @ED: So what's your major? Sounds like one of the sciences, but I'm not sure. I know that at the school where I did my undergrad, the core science courses for non-science majors were pretty easy, but even the freshman-level science courses for biology and chemistry majors were notoriously brutal. I was (well, AM, since I'm now in grad school) a history major, so I just took the easy science class, sailed through it, and went my merry way. mrgreen But some of my friends on the BS track didn't have it so easy. Lol, no, not the sciences. I'm in the engineering department -- specifically Electrical Engineering (the magical sector of engineering that covers a ridiculously wide range of subjects til you finally specialize)... fun stuff (lolz)

Here's my way of discerning "knowledge" groups: Artists/Philosophers (the general populus): Take in raw input from the universe and create data (thought and translation). They constantly create, but stop there -- ending up with "natural" data (abstract data that is incompatible with the human mind). Scientists: Take created data and break it down (experimentation and analysis). They both create and deconstruct things, but stop there -- we end up with "human" data (data that is completely compatible with the human mind). Engineers: Take broken down data and recreate (innovation and application). They create, deconstruct, and reconstruct -- thus, the circle is complete and we get "quasi-natural" data (data that is compatible with the human mind translated into abstract data which can sync back with the universe). With all three fundamental human groups we advance forward in knowledge and technology. It's essentially like alchemy (that's how it works in my mind at least).

	lilchibiusa @Scorch - I hope you get better soon. sad As of tomorrow, I will have a happier, brighter avi. It will be one that will not be stressed out with paper writing! Compared to this paper, finals will be a breeze. Then, I will set up the official banner thread. Btw, I know that I can't be the only one thinking this, but shouldn't the Gaia prom be coming up? I just hope that it doesn't start before I can get my computer working correctly. There is no way that I can play a game on this computer right now. But, oh, I loved Prommageddon last year. It had some great music, and I loved the DDR type game. Yeah Chibi I have been thinking about the same thing. I can't wait for Gaia prom considering missed it last year. sad

	I put on my sparkly items. biggrin The only thing I'm not wearing that is not sparkling is my necklace. I bet that ther is either going to be an event coming out of these sparkles or there is going to be an new RIG. Maybe the sparkles even have something to do with prom! xd
