Willa-Wisp Thanks for the update, Meta! As for breeding an alt, it seems luck plays a major role. It is a hybrid breeding. For example, with a black alt, one parent has to be a black and the other a different type of dragon. There doesn't seem to be any difference if the black parent is male or female that I've found in looking at the lineages of the black alts we have in the Class groups on Page 2 of this thread. The alt black egg is very black. Some people with better computer resolutions say it almost has a purple sheen to it. With my dinosaur of a computer, I have to compare the color of the egg's upper left quadrant to others. The regular blacks are slightly lighter than the alts. With the vine/plant alts, the egg is slightly darker green in color. I see a difference in the shadow (lower right quadrant) of the egg. It is black while the shadow has more gradient (light to darker black) appearance on the regular eggs. Hope that helps! biggrin
Quote: Breeding alts is just luck. I've been trying to breed one for a while. I think I finally got at least one (the black) maybe two (the vine).
thank's you two. that helps ( I think) I guess I'll just breed serathos (black dragon)with kongen (vine dragon). wish me luck!
