"Have fun, you two," Azana said with a smile, her hand still absently stroking her napping cat. "I'll hold things down here."

Crooning quietly to the fluffy cat, Gren stood up at the reply. "All right then...I'll drive us, unless you want to walk it."
Moonbeam roused slightly, stretching her legs out and spreading her toes before curling back in onto herself, melting into Azana's lap.

With a whistle, MacPere strolled in, rolling a miniature suitcase behind him. "Stella really doesn't know how to sort finance reports, does she? I have two briefcases and a suitcase full... With a lot morestill on my desk."

"If you wouldn't mind, I would love a ride," he said, remembering what he had said about getting a license at some point. Then again, with that link to Azana, maybe the card would work for him...now wasn't the time to test that, though.

Chris came downstairs, his usual calm mood replaced by a dark cloud of anger and sorrow. He could feel her presence. She was closer, now, and coming fast. It wouldn't be long until the inevitable confrontation.

Azana chuckled at Eli's entrance, shaking her head. "I know she puts on a good act, but she was probably just as desperate for your help as you were for hers..."
Sosol gave an understanding nod, grabbing a couple bags and waiting by the door. At Chris' entrance, he offered a wave in greeting, but the hero didn't seem to be in any sort of good mood.

The instant he dipped, MacPere gave a quiet squeak, allowing the clatter of his briefcases and suitcase hitting the floor. His arms immediately slipped around the saxophonist's neck and, once his bearings were regained, he pressed back with fervour; truly happy. What a greeting...

Serra woke up in her brother's bed, spying said brother still sleeping soundly on the couch. Serra decided it would be a bad idea to wake her brother, so instead, got out of the bed as quietly as possible, and made her way down the stairs. The young woman smiled at the familiar, and occasionally new company. "Hello everyone." She trilled, and took a seat off to the side.

Sosol breathed an almost exasperated sigh, dropping the bags. "Should I activate that sanctuary spell...?"
Azana blinked. "That was quick..." She said, lifting Moonbeam as she stood and depositing the cat in the warm spot. "Need someone on-call?" She glanced over to Serra, offering a grin and a wave although her mind was already preparing for another potential fight.
So much for free time...

After a good amount of time was spent in greeting, Gren slowly eased back into an upright stance, giving his husband a final squeeze. "Welcome home...I'll be back in a bit; Sosol and I are gonna buy some games. Kick up your heels." he smiled, sashaying out.

The air was tense, and this new addition to the room did not bode good. Who was this 'She'? Serra's face turned to a worried frown. "...What's going on?" She asked, dread creeping into her soft tones.

Xei opened her eyes, shooing Lek away from her feet, leaning forward as people started stirring around her. She smiles an lets out a musical yawn, standing, lithe form bent in a relaxed pose as she ran a hand through her hair, crimson pools dimming as she listened.

"Then here's the plan. Danny and I will go talk to her, try to figure out what she's after. Nobody makes a move until I say so, is that clear?" Without waiting for a response, the Roberts brothers walked out the door to face their wayward sibling.
