Azana blinked before humming in thought. "Well, there are plenty of legends and myths surrounding the idea of twins and triplets. Of course, if I had my books--"
"Not a chance."
"Worth a try. Anyway, it's plausible, though I have a hard time believing your intelligence, or Danny's strength, can be removed so easily." She crossed one leg over the other, still with a thoughtful expression. "Any thoughts, Sol...?"
"I can't really come up with anything without poking around, and that'd be getting really personal," he answered with a slight grimace. Gleaning surface thoughts and random secrets was one thing...but that always left him feeling drained, a little sick, and oftentimes disoriented for a couple days afterward. Not something he planned on doing so close to his own wedding.

keeping his smirk he followed up with
"If that were the case there are plenty of people here who can give you a good fight if you give them reason too."
Baharoth came floating down the stairs and over to Aris curling up in front of him on the table looking over at Xei Lazily.
"Though I wouldn't advise it here, if you mess with one of us...generally you mess with all of us. Were a very close family here."

"There is someone else who could give you the answer," Morgan said. "All you have to do is ask him the question you've been avoiding for the last five years." She stared hard at him, but he looked away. "That's why you don't see him that often, isn't it? You know he knows the truth and, every time you see him, you're tempted to ask that fateful question."
"Stop it, Morgan," Danny replied.
"You know what you have to do, Chris. All it takes is one question. Just four little words and then you would know I'm telling the truth."

"Well, it's a card game called Apples to Apples. It is a brilliant game for large groups, something we have a tendency to generate," he said with a gesture to the Inn's main room. "As for the breakfast invitation, I might just have to take you up on that. Maybe a trade?"
"Him...?" Azana asked, momentarily confused. Chris knew a lot of hims, but which would know about-- "Oh...well, that'd be a pretty credible source."
Sosol nodded in agreement, though he was somewhat tempted to try and cross-reference this with the GMO. Who knew? Maybe Skuld said something, or there was record of it in their library...it was a long shot, but Chris was obviously uncomfortable with the alternatives.

Stacy came downstairs and lit up upon seeing Tyler. She walked over to him with a pretty smile, completely oblivious to the presence of Danny and Morgan. "Hi, handsome. Haven't seen you in a while."

Tyler glanced up, smiling immediately at the appearance of a familiar blond detective. "Stacy...far too long, in my opinion, though I understand things have been busy."
"Yeesh, talk about ultimatums," Azana muttered quietly, sure that no one would enjoy a louder commentary. Still, Morgan had never even met them...underestimating the operative, or those around her, had been the downfall of many enemies before. She seemed pretty set, and very intense, in her beliefs about it, though, and Azana found it unsettling. What if this was the truth...? Maybe Omega Zero was Chris' fight in more than one way.

"Well Company is definitely something that is abundant here!."
He looked around the room at everyone.
"The best companions I have ever had, and that's saying something."
He turned back seeing her legs on the table and kept moving his eyes right back to hers.
"Thats an easy one."
he laughed before getting up out of his seat and stretching.
"I would very much like to continue this discussion, so if you would humor me and stall this until tomorrow, I would be grateful. I have some business to attend to with a dragon and i'm sure if I don't show up he will be quite angry."
He shrugged and tapped the table to wake Baharoth, who lifted itself and landed on his head, curling back up and closing his eyes.
"I'm sorry to do this in the middle of our conversation but I just remembered it and I'm surprised he isn't here right now banging on the door aheh..So I thank you but I must take my leave."
He extended his gratitude with a short bow and made his way for the door.
((I gotta go to bed, i'm falling asleep at the keyboard....Sorry Xei!!!! I hate to disappear in mid convo, but I dont wanna leave you hanging! Gnight everyone!))

"I already am. Now get out of here before I change my mind."
"We leave tomorrow. Be ready." She stood up and walked out, pausing only for a moment to look back at her brothers wistfully.
Chris and Danny both sat back in their chairs and simultaneously sighed.
Stacy flipped her hair and said "Things have been crazy, but now that my caseload has been cleared, I have some overdue vacation time headed my way. I don't know if a superheroine ever gets a vacation, though. How have you been? I've missed you."

Tyler nodded as she explained the case load and some vacation time, though he wasn't quite expecting to be missed. "Well, I haven't been quiet as busy, myself. I got a title change, a summons for testing, and a short little side project for MacPere and Azana. It's more Max's thing, but I've been switching shifts with her..."
He looked over to Gren. "We were just discussing my rather limited cooking skills, since he caught a whiff of my dinner."
Azana blinked at the change of heart, watching Morgan leave. She waited for a moment or two, thinking to herself. Tomorrow's the 27th...he better not take too long with--wow, that's a bit selfish, isn't it? I mean, if she's right, this is more important... She sighed, mentally scratching him from the guest list.

Chris thought about what Morgan had said. Deep down, she was right. Perhaps he was afraid of knowing the truth, especially from someone he trusted so much. He wasn't sure if he could handle that kind of burden.
