((As far as I see it, I shouldn't be the only person with multiple characters to pull off. razz Nothing against them, but I'll be happy to send Will and May off again.))
Max giggled, giving a little turn to show off. "I've been plannin' this one for a couple weeks...hard to get one color to keep from seeming bland."
Tyler chuckled, the sleek new teleporter hidden in his coat. "I'm surprised MacPere hasn't come down yet...our little excursion aside, doesn't he have to escort someone?"
"If I had to guess, he's still a bit nervous about the whole thing, especially meeting Miss K," Sosol said with a grin. "I guess I would be, too...I just hope she can make it."
Will nodded before patting Sosol on the back. "I'm sure they'll do their best to bring her. In the meantime, don't you have to meet--what was his name?"
"James," May said. "Your best man, right? Wasn't he setting up photography?"

(Yeah...parents are fun to play, but it's kind of hard, you know?)
Gregor chuckled in his rougher tone. "Kiddo, you'd have to work hard to make anything bland, believe me."
Matilda nodded. "Should we be off, then? I'd hate to arrive too early, but better safe than sorry..."
Gren shrugged. "Eli will turn up precisely when he's needed, but if you have to get her yourself, I'm sure he'll understand."

"It's probably a good idea," Sosol said. "I'm supposed to arrive early, anyway. Max, Ty, if you do end up taking Eli with you, please make sure you guys arrive on time."
"That shouldn't be a problem," Tyler said with a smirk, patting his coat pocket. "Last minute isn't really our style."
"Well, not for things like this, at least," Max finished with a laugh. "No one will know we've even been gone!"
With a deep breath to steel himself, Sosol turned to his parents, then to the Eckeners. "Let's head out, then."

Remy hopped down the stairs, having attempted to tame his hair without much success. "Man! Sorry! I'm coming!" He stared momentarily at Max. "Wow. Hello." before remembering what he was up to. "Okay! Yes, let's go!"
Matilda giggled quietly and straightened Gregor's tie.
"A-aw, honey..."
"Shush."
Gren rolled his eyes cheerfully. "All right...last one to the car's a rotten egg."

Max chuckled at Remy, digging into her purse to pull out a comb and a small spray bottle. "Hold still, 'kay?" She said, and after a couple of spritzes and a little work from the comb, she stepped back with a satisfied smile. "There we go...I'll meet ya there. Still gotta pick up a guest."
Tyler waved them off. Last time, it was Stella who cut it close...now it seemed their turn, though if they were late, there would be hell to pay.

Remy smiled sheepishly in having his hair combed. "Thank you...mirrors and all that. I'll save you a seat."
The Eckeners and the Jacobs clans made their way out, Remy with them, Gren hoping his husband would make it on time.

Eventually, MacPere strolled downstairs, straightening his top hat. "What... Am I late?" He asked with a quizzical expression, finding the room rather desolate.

"Not yet...they just decided to get there early. Groom in the group and all," Tyler explained, pulling out his teleporter and Azana's letter. "I've already got the coordinates saved."
Max chuckled, shaking her head. "Ready to pick up our surprise guest?"

"As ever." Even after fussing over his headwear for some time, MacPere tucked the hat under his arm. He strolled forward and nodded, indicating his readiness.

Xei popped her head downstairs as soon as they disappeared, turning to look all around the place, where did they all go? She blinks an slinks down the stairs, Bo buzzing about an singing to the cats that looked her in a lazy manner, "What?" She asked chuckling, "Did I miss something?" Lek murred loudly to her an flicked his tail.

"And here we are!" Tyler said as they reappeared in the Inn. He looked over everything...while they had been gone, the caterers had been in, and the cake had been delivered as well. "Looks like everything's ready except--"
"The tunes! I can take care of that!" Max exclaimed, taking the stage. "My people are good...everything's perfect!"

After a bit, the team of cars arrived, Gren and MacPere leading the pack, the Eckeners and Jacobs following, Remy and Emily trotting along the back.

The knights entered the Inn and Mike went straight for the bar to have a stiff drink or two. Jake made his way to the food so he could think while digesting. Danny and Morgan took up seats at the usual table while Chris led Crystal to the dance floor.
Stacy walked in and strolled past Tyler, brushing against him and whispering to him "Save me a dance, Mister Hunter."

Getting settled in and dispersing to mingle, Remy sidling up to the DJ stand and passed Max a note of a song request with a wink.
(I'll need to get to bed rather soon...I'm tired.)
