Angeles listened to what Chris said and her next word came as a drawn out hiss, "great," she stood up and walked to the kitchen, "as if I have not suffered enough," D watched her go and made a small noise in his throat before Angeles came back out with a bottle of blood, "if only I had not failed," she growled before dropping the bottle on the table with a heavy thud and fell back into her seat, no longer in a decent mood.

Chris couldn't help but feel sympathy towards her. He knew only a fraction of the things she had been through, and even that was enough to try the strongest of souls. He could only imagine the torment in her heart.
He returned his attention to the matter at hand. With Azana and Sosol on their honeymoon, it was left to him to handle these sorts of problems. "Okay, Xei. What is an Eholim?"

Tyler paid close attention, though he kept his physical distance. Whatever was going on, it had something to do with Xei...Chris was investigating beautifully, but he wouldn't be surprised if his own services were required in deciphering this.
Maybe I should call up Skuld...she uses Prophecy, maybe she can make sense of it.

"So he's part angel and part demon? Wonderful." He looked over at Tyler, sitting at the bar. This sort of thing fell under GMO jurisdiction, so he should bring the GMO in on it. "Tyler, call Skuld. We may need her expertise on this. Stacy!"
Stacy came down the stairs and said "Yeah, boss?"
"I need you and Tyler to dig up anything you can find on this guy. Xei, tell them everything they need to know. Get to work, people."
"On it, boss."

He sighed and stood up.
"Well I suppose ill have to put it on my pillow instead hmm?"
he smiled and stretched
"Listen ill leave the information gathering to you and the GMO Chris. Ill take care of the brawling when it needs to happen. Until then im going to rest my eyes. Xei...you shouldnt be alone anymore for your own safety. Stay with someone here, and if you cant find someone..my rooms open, theres plenty of room for another person."
and he trekked upstairs and fell onto his bed thinking about the recent events until he fell asleep.

"Not necessarily," Tyler interjected. "Elohim are part angel, true, but most of them are descended from fallen angels, which a lot of people would call demons. It's very, very rare that you'd get one of both breeds." He blinked as Chris called Stacy, setting both of them to the more metaphysical aspects of the case.
"I'm sure she'll love the excuse to get out of the office. With MacPere on honeymoon, too...well, Stella's been a little frantic." He turned to Stacy with a smile. "Working with you on a case...maybe I should thank Mr. and Mrs. Jacobs on their return."

"I know the drill. Business before pleasure," Tyler said with a smirk, standing with his drink. "Let's see, call Skuld, make a copy of that note...maybe get Max into the GMO databases for a search for someone matching that description of Xei's...nothing too difficult."
He walked toward the stairs, knowing it was going to be another one of those kind of cases. The sooner, the better...
((And I'm out for the night....early morning for me, since I get early access to the exhibit hall~!))
