"Skuld, you're timing could not be more perfect. It's good to see you again. Here's a copy of the note. What do you make of it?"

Skuld smiled, turning to Aris. "Oracle Special Operative Skuld, GMO, reporting for duty," she introduced herself before taking the note, looking it over.

"I know I am likely stating the obvious, but this prophecy identifies multiple people. The keynote seems to be both what, or who, is coming...and this Queen of Innocence figure. I suppose figuring out the others would be helpful, too, if nothing else to narrow down our subjects." She sighed, pulling out a memo pad to jot down a copy for herself to look over at length.

"Part of it may also be when the prophecy was made. Everything written is in future tense. If this was received recently, none of this has happened yet and could be anyone...though I have to say, your conclusions based on the premise that the prophecy is about a month old are quite uncanny."

Skuld scribbled down notes. "There are more, though...these falling kings have me concerned, and I am not quite certain of what these metaphors may speak to. I feel like I would have to know more about recent events and the recipient to be of more help." She stopped, looking to Chris with a grin.

"I suppose that is why she made me pack a suitcase."

"Prophecies are an occupational hazard in my line of work. I've dealt with my fair share," he replied. "As far as recent events, I couldn't say. It's been pretty quiet recently. All I know is that a stranger gave this to Xei with the instructions that she deliver it here and see to it that we all read it."

He sighed before continuing. "I don't know much about this, Skuld, but my instincts tell me that something big is on the horizon and that it somehow concerns all of us. I just haven't put all the pieces together...yet."

"Thank you, Skuld. And I want you to know this arrangement works both ways. If my team or I can be of any assistance, don't hesitate to call us. Whatever this thing heading our way is, the only way we're going to survive it is by sticking together."

Skuld nodded to both of them, a hint of a smile on her face. "We cannot fail," she said, more in reassurance to herself than anything else. "Such a group as ours, we have overcome too much to do otherwise." She picked up her case, carrying it with no problem. As she went to go upstairs, though, she glanced back at the bar with the handmade sign of Sosol's absence.

How long can you hold on, dear Brother...? I have wondered since your escape, then your release. You are surrounded by support, but the day will come when that choice is yours. With a wave to the two, she disappeared upstairs without another word or explanation.

"Goodnight you two. Ill probably be up myself shortly"

he said sending them off with a wave before returning to the bar top

"Where, are you..."

he said quietly, opening a hand to reveal a piece of ice in the shape of an angel's wing. He sat there staring at it for quite awhile with thoughts, and memories played themselves over and over again in his head, while he repeated the same statement over and over again. Before long he fell asleep with his hand open on the counter, faint muttering could be heard ever so often of "Where....are you?..." while he slept at the bar.
