On another note! I bought Shaun of the Dead! I love that movie! I absolutely adore all British humour! blaugh

Have you ever watched Black Adder, Red Dwarf or Fry and Laurie? Or maybe Father Ted? So so so funny! All good English comedy series.

xD i grew up with that stuff, not a huge fan of father ted, but black adder and the rest are great, so is black books, the green wing was funny for the first season too. there is a great new series called 'misfits' that i would recommend to anybody :3 and then there is always my all time favourite 'spaced'

I'm a fan of the British humour as well. Shaun of the Dead is fantastic but I liked Hot Fuzz even more! Yaarrp!

Yeah I guess I should just go back to a classic profile or try to find a different version 2 that has a larger comment section. I was just grumpy because I finally found a nice simple layout I liked without having to do any work. rofl

Thank you! biggrin I was looking at my mule's profile (Ellineath), and I realized that the profile that I lazily copied and pasted from tektek wasn't showing up correctly. Instead of showing the cool D.N.Angel one that I put up, it was showing a poorly made Fruits Basket one instead! I like Fruits Basket, but I can't figure out why the D.N.Angel one isn't showing up. I checked the coding for it, and all of it linked back to D.N.Angel pictures, so I can't figure out what's going on. I think I had the Fruits Basket one up for a day or something when I was trying to find a good one for my mule (because I'm too lazy to try to make one for that account), but I haven't had that one up in YEARS! @_@

Oooh the stickers aren't next to our avys anymore. I wonder if this means we can use the ones we collected soon.

I hope so! I'm getting rather bored with this event and sticker collecting. I'm positive that I missed two stickers, but I hope that won't work against me too much. I can't wait to see what we will be trading them in for! xd

I got my flu shot today. They told me it was a combo regular flu and H1N1 so I should be all set. I can't get the kids their shots until next month - last year my son had the flu at the same time his clinic was giving shots out so he couldn't get one. He was the only one in the family who missed it last year and the only one that got the flu three times during the school year poor guy.

I don't usually get a flu shot. I'm always afraid of catching the flue because of the flu shot. Plus, I heard that you'll have to get a booster in 3 months if you get one now. When I had pneumonia in February, that was really bad. xp It makes the flu seem kinder, so I'm not that afraid of getting it. But, I completely understand getting one if you work around or have kids. Btw, I don't think I ever asked, what you do for a living?

The way I understand it is if you are a child and have never had a flu shot before you need to get the booster. Otherwise it's just a once a year thing. I've never heard of anyone getting the flu from the shot but I suppose it might happen in rare cases. For me personally it does make a big difference. I have two school age kids so they are exposed to all kinds of stuff and then bring it home to share. lol

I was in banking for quite a while. At the moment I don't have a paid job. I'm full time mommy and I volunteer a lot at both of their schools. (my daughter is in 1st grade and my son just started middle school). I'm flirting with the idea of becoming a teachers aide. It wouldn't pay much but I'd be working and have the same hours and holiday's as the kids.

I'm at the con right now. One of my friends brought her computer so I'm borrowing hers. I got to meet GalateasFire irl at the con today. We hung out and chatted, and had a great time! I wish we could have hung out longer.
