The general and his troops were caught completely off guard by the event and had no clue what just happened. "Spread out. They can't have gone far. I want them found and arrested ASAP." The troops very quickly ran out of the Inn in search of the fugitives.

Stacy had an idea as to what was happening, but she had more important things to worry about. Chris would be labeled a fugitive and local law enforcement would be enlisted to assist with the manhunt. She had to be ready to go.

Jake decided to stay put, in case they came back. So far, everything was going according to plan.

Stacy emerged from upstairs with her badge and gun on her waist. Her phone was to her war as someone was heard yelling on the other end. "Yes, chief, I know. Apprehend them and take them into custody. You've only yelled it at me three times." There was a pause and then, "No, I don't know where they might have gone." Another pause. "No, I don't have any idea who would." She rushed over to Tyler and gave him a kiss. "I've gotta run. Duty calls. Don't wait up for me." She ran out the door, still trading yells with her boss.

Nate emerged from the kitchen once more with a pair of sandwiches. He sat down with Jake and the two of them began to eat.

((Gonna have to go soon. I have plans this evening. Meeting a friend of a friend for drinks. Might be out late.))

Gren hummed, heading in from another day of work. He had a plan. Leaving his saxophone case by the coat rack, he strolled into the kitchen with a genial greeting to those in the room, rolling up his sleeves as he approached the counter.

Remy sighed. He'd seen some strange things in his life, but teleporting away from arrest? "It's like Dumbledore..."

Kageko stepped silently into the inn, her outfit as same as always. the girl thought to herself as she surveyed her surroundings.

Tyler gave a somewhat puzzled expression. "I'll, erm, take your word on that..."

Azana glanced up as someone else entered, smiling as she recognized a long-missing face. "Kageko! Holy hell, how have you been?!"

Sosol waved to the girl, happy to see her as well though wondering how she'd react to the news...did she even know they were now married?

Kageko's face lit up as well, glad to know that her friends still stayed at the inn. "Fine, how about you?" the girl replied to Azana while returning Gren's and Sosol's waves, "Actually, how's everyone been?". She noticed something catch the light on Azana's hand and a quick glance towards Sosol's ring finger seemed to confirm the theory that she had just been formulating. "That's a pretty nice ring you've got there, Azana," Kageko complimented and then apologized, "I'm sorry that I couldn't be there when you got it."

(OOC: Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm assuming that both Azana and Sosol wear their wedding rings?)

Through Yang, Kageko sensed someone's conscious focused on her and she immediately lowered her energy to the absolute minimum without seeming strange. It was already dulled down as soon as she had entered the inn, but now it was even more so. At the same time, she focused on the energy of whoever was targeting her, seeking to find out about the suspicious individual without showing any physical signs of curiosity. Throughout the entire process, she kept on the light smile that she had been wearing ever since the beginning of her conversation with Azana, seeming to be completely carefree.
