I'm in NJ. But before I did AA, I only went to cons I can commute to. I still do this, but as I expand my art selection and make more money, I'll be able to cover hotel costs with sales so I can start going to cons that are far away :3

...weird. That manga doesn't seem like it belongs in YKO xD; Also, it's by the author of DNAngel so I'd be wary >>; She'll probably go on a mega-hiatus again or something. The lead character looks a lot like Anise, wow. Really cute style but I think I'll pass on this series.

I have money, but...
End of May weekend: Not in stock.
Couldn't go the weekend after that.
Last weekend was ANext.
This weekend I'm sick.
My friend and I will be going to NY in 3 weeks so I'm not even sure if it's worth going next week or the week after that.

That's kinda what I was thinking-- it's a bit too...cute to be in there... Yep, I'm quite aware of the fact that it may go on a mega-hiatus at one point. But what bugs me the most is that the manga-ka decided to make an entirely new series when she has at least two other ones going. It's nuts! gonk
And...wow, she really does look a little like Anise now that I think about it.

Oh yes and about an update...
I didn't get any manga at Metrocon.(But I did get a cute little figurine!) So, no updates as far as that's concerned.
I may just update my photos...after I get a manga back from a friend of mine... XD

Online ordering doesn't work all that well for magazines. Hopefully, Amazon will still have the magazine in stock when I do my next order in mid-July ~_~; The next issue will be out by then, although I believe Asahiya is holding that one for me. I should have asked them to hold July too, but I thought I'd be able to find it ><;

Well if anything I'm kinda hoping Yen Press gets (Kuroshitsuji) it.
'Cause then it might have a chance of getting in their monthly magazine-- Yen Plus.

I got the August issue of Yen+ yesterday! heart
I'll be buying it a lot more now that they've added Kuroshitsuji.

I also made some updates to my pictures and changed the poll.

I am tempted to pick up that issue of Yen+ just to see how they're doing with Kuroshitsuji.

The only REAL change they made was to the title. But all they did was just translate it. So that's a minor issue.
Other than that, it's pretty much the same.

I've heard that Yen has a good track record of accuracy, but I'm still curious to see how they handled some things. Sebastian in particular says a lot of things that carry multiple meanings. Not just the "akuma de/aku made shitsuji desu kara" thing, although that is the main one. I am interested in seeing the various versions people have come up with, since it's a pun that's impossible to replicate in English.

Not much of an update buuuut...

Dangit, I wish my local bookstores would get DNAngel 12 already! It was supposed to come out yesterday, but for some reason it wasn't at any of my nearby bookstores at all. Not in the two Books A Millions, not in the Barnes and Noble, not even in ANY of the Borders or Walden Books. Even though we literally have 4 Borders and 2 Walden Books within reasonable driving distance. stare Though...the Borders website said it might be in stock down in Sarasota(Florida) but that's a 2+ hour drive and even though it said that it's "likely" be in stock down there, it's just not worth it.

*Sigh* I'll just go to B.A.M. on Tuesday and check.

Went to Books A Million today and found DNAngel 12~!
After that I went to the library and read a couple of manga then went to their book store and found an old Viz manga for 50 cents!

You know, I'm actually quite surprised at how huge a manga selection my library has. They have almost any series you could ever want to read in English! ...If only they could catch up on Nightmare Inspector...then I could die happy. XD

Went to Borders and got: 07-Ghost 2 and Nabari No Ou 1.
I also borrowed 4-5 of Trinity Blood and Dogs (Prelude) from a friend of mine.

I have a lot of reading to do tonight...

Just curiosities about whether or not used items on Amazon Japan are available to international customers. XD;

Darks: That depends on the seller, but 99.99% of them are not, sadly. If you try to contact the sellers yourself, you might be able to arrange something, but you'll end up paying more for the shipping than you would getting it new and paying for Amazon's shipping.

Anyways, I've been pretty busy lately with moving, the Holidays and such.
So yeeeah...
I'll start on updating my manga collection list wiith: Vampire Knight 6, 07 Ghost 2 and 3 annnnd Lagoon Engine 6.(Which is on it's way. Yay for Tokyopop picking it back up!)

I've put it off for a while, but I finally got DNAngel 13 at the mall yesterday. And on an unrelated note: while I was there I also preordered Pokemon SoulSilver at EB Games.

On another more related note: I'm going to start a list of my Video Games and count my manga. Since I've hardly been updating anything else.
