Glancing up from the newspaper, MacPere couldn't resist a smle at the scene. Charlotte wasn't exactly Emily's age, but the dynamic between teh two was perfect. Perhaps if she went to school, the same could be achieved...

Emily trotted up to MacPere, face half hidden beneath a wide-brimmed sun hat, and handed him a plastic tea cup. "Here, Daddy! Have some tea!"
Charlotte, wearing what could only have been a peach and cream bridesmaid's dress, beamed. "Yeah! it's a good blend!"

"Gumdrops!" she said proudly. Charlotte nodded to this idea. "I made it myself!" She thrust forward a plate of plastic cookies.

"Oh, my..." MacPere looked to his cup with intrigue, baffled smile finding his lips. "Well, I think it's a winner. Thank you, Emily." He took a plastic cookie and thought how to approach such.

Max Mouse walked downstairs with a beaming smile, taking a seat at a table with an excellent view of the door. It almost seemed like she was waiting on something...the anticipatory expression on her face made it obvious that was the case.
Tyler yawned as he followed not long after, a bundle of papers under his arm. He set them on another table, wanting to look them over one more time after a caffeine fix.
"Yes, yes...I know, Stella. I have exams today, too, you know! It's important. Really important. Extremely important. Yes, tomorrow. I'll explain when you get here. No, I won't be late for my test! Sheesh...alright. See you." Azana hung up with a sigh, waving to the tea party with an "everything's fine" smile...though, any sort of closer look would show it was faked.

MacPere pouted to the hat on his head, looking up at it. Soon, his pout reverted into a wide smile and he tilted the hat to a preferred angle, continuing to sip at his 'tea'.
"Good afternoon~!" He cooed to the descending party, lifting Emily into his lap.

Tyler raised an eyebrow to Remy's question as he emerged with a mug of coffee. One look to Max, and...
"You didn't..."
Max glanced back to Tyler with the same cheesy, beaming smile.
"When are they showing up?" He asked, immediately before a troupe of at least ten people walked in through the doors.
"Gentlemen...and lady!" Max greeted dramatically. "I've been expecting you..."
Azana chuckled, looking at the group that had just entered the Inn. Max had called reinforcements...and she had a hunch as to why. Even with James, those two could only get so much leg work done...

Angeles lifted her head to look over at Max before looking over at the group. She was still alive, but that was possibly due only to the fact that D had not yet returned. She hummed in thought at the people and decided to keep her eye on them, just in case. Meanwhile she then wondered where Alex and Protoman had gotten off to, not sure if she should dare leave to make sure the redhead was still alive.

((The girls are down for a nap, so I thought I'd drop in for a bit.))
Chris suddenly appeared and took a seat next to Angeles. He said nothing for a few moments. He seemed to be thinking about something as he looked her over. Finally, he said "I heard about what happened at Trent Tech. Apparently, some psychotic woman broke in and wiped out an entire squadron of soldiers."

"Tragic," said Angeles casually, "must have been some insanely powerful psychotic woman. Maybe it was Cameron's ex-girlfriend," she couldn't help but give a wry grin, "why do you feel the need to inform me of this? Isn't this something you and your knights should be concerned with more than I?"
