Emily gave him a scrutinizing look, then smiled. "Okay!" She picked up a plastic cookie and bit it happily. "Owww!"
"Emmy! Emmy, what's wrong?"
"My mouth hurts..." she whimpered, rubbing her cheek.

"It does? Well, I know what can fix that..." MacPere flicked his gaze to the wall clock, eyes widened in mild shock. "A bath!"
As he stood from the table, he swept Emily into his arms, marching to the adjoined bathroom.

Emily blinked, distracted from the pain. "Bathtime!" she cheered.
Gren smiled, inspecting the cookie toy. "I'm betting it's a loose tooth."
Charlotte smiled. "Think I'll clean up...go do the dad thing."
'Righto...thank you, Charlotte."
She smiled, and Gren sidled into the bathroom. "Need any help?"

"That would be lovely, thank you..." MacPere smiled, adjusting the hot and cold taps to an even blend. "Now, Emily, let's get you ready!" With a whistled tune, he sat the girl on a stool and began to unfasten her shoes.

"Sure thing." Gren smiled, preparing the soaps before taking to Emily's over sized dress over her play clothes. Emily giggled and kicked her feet slightly. This was a fun game!

Neatly placing both shoes to one side, MacPere stood and tugged the girl's T-shirt over her head, folding it up and setting it on the counter. "Did you enjoy the tea party, sweetie?"

"Alright, alright... I'm only trying to help." He gave a light chuckle and, once she was ready, lifted Emily into the bath. "I think we'll have to host another tea party... Maybe coax Auntie Max or Uncle Remy into it..." He chuckled to himself at the thought of Remy dressed as a lolita, even if the style would suit him a little. Speaking of which...
"Emily, you don't mind if Daddy take that hair band, do you?"

D came back in, carrying Angeles in his arms. The woman was unconscious, but twitching and shuddering. He avoided any others in the main room, somewhat shielding Angeles from view with his body. He was silent as he went up the stairs and to their room, shutting the door behind him.

Stella grumbled under her breath as she entered the Inn. It was rather incomprehensible to anyone who wasn't close to her, but it had something to do with her cousin.
Tyler, meanwhile, had set up camp downstairs at the same table as the day before. He was still in disbelief about the crowd that had helped them out; they had it ready and triple-checked in record time, the only compensation being some drinks from Sosol and snacks from Nate. And a group photo at the end.
In all of his time among those underground hackers, he had never seen such a unified front for...well, anything. Many of them were rather secretive, though not quite to his degree, yet with a few keystrokes from Max, they all came to one place at one time.
You're really something else, he thought, wondering how she was faring at Power Central as he began to plug in his high-powered laptop.
