Tyler checked his phone as he headed upstairs, having re-routed his messages to it, and chuckled. He stopped, waiting for one of the frogs to get close enough before he scooped it up, using his now-empty bag as a net.
You'll see... He sent back, walking the halls toward MacPere's apartment. He was halfway tempted to check on Angeles, but he didn't want to wake her for this. She had already done plenty...

The frog wiggled in protest against being held, ribbiting once or twice before hunkering down in defense.

MacPere hummed to himself when he received the newest message, somehow worried about the implications of such. He'd propped the apartment door open so anything could jump in and give him a shock.

Charlotte, meanwhile, was wondering where the magenta frog had gone. She'd gone and color-coded them, and now on was missing...'good thing they aren't poisonous...'

Tyler raised an eyebrow at the open door invitation, looking down at his vociferous companion. "Don't worry, I'll let you go soon," he said, walking up to the doorway and giving the frog a light toss into the apartment. He'd give it a moment or two before entering himself...

The frog gratefully escaped, fluttering into the room, taking in its bearings with a ribbit of freedom. In doing so, it nearly collided with something large and red.

Glancing up from his laptop at the quiet sounds of flapping, MacPere turned his head. "AH!" He cried, almost falling off of the chair at the shock.

Brow furrowed, his gaze followed the wandering frog, none too pleased of the hygiene of such on the kitchen counter (strange, regarding what he'd usually recommend be done in there). He'd fetch it later.
"Yes, thank you for the warning." MacPere laughed to Tyler, closing the lid of his laptop. "Believe me, a failing game of Pacman is worth interruption. Not at your station?"

"No," he answered, hands in his pockets. "They're already past my part in all this...might want to avoid that forest path, though, until I can get everything cleaned up..." He found an empty chair, taking a seat.
"Max is keeping tabs on the Knight and the score. Only she could possibly be bored standing in the middle of that place..."

Charlotte sighed. That frog wasn't coming back...best send it back. She snapped her fingers boredly, the frogs vanishing into small pils of glitter. Looking about, she noted that nobody was about. Smiling, she began humming a song, lovingly.
"Lyrical Tokarev, kill them all~"

Tyler blinked as a small burst of glitter from behind the toaster caught his eye. Well, so much for that... He thought with a frown. Apparently Charlotte got bored easily, as well. With no one in the main room but Stella and that angel, it didn't seem entirely out of the question...
"Oh, that was something I forgot to mention," he said, an odd thought considering how helpful it was. "Since when did this place get a guardian angel?"
