"I'll go ask him," said Alex standing up. She had ridden a chocobo, her life felt fulfilled.

Yuffie stared wide-eyed at Alex's decision, "a-are you serious?"

"Alex," said Vincent in an almost-disappointed tone, "just beause your life has no value to you, does not mean other's don't value it."

Alex stopped and looked at Vincent, "I have a feeling if I actually found Sephiroth and asked him, I would be too weak and insignificant for him to bother to take the time to kill me, let alone answer," she shrugged, "who called Cid by the way?"

"I called Cloud, he might have bummed a ride from Cid," said Yuffie with a shrug, figuring that Alex had been joking all along.

"Hmm," Alex put her hand on the door.

"Holy you're serious!?"

Max blinked at Alex, herself making her way to the stairs to clean up and change. That girl seriously has a death wish...I don't get it.

"I take it we're getting more guests?" Sosol asked, already finding the Inn to be a bit of a full house as it was.

"Sounds like it," Azana answered, staying out of the way. What a mess...

"What's that got to do with it?" he asked, rolling his eyes. "Eh, fine, far be it for me to tell you how to die."

"Why is ev'ryone here without invitin' me?" Cid brashly questioned from the doorway, repressing the need to use of abrasive words.

"Hey Cid!" yelled Yuffie moving towards him. Cid knew how to make a tense situation much lighter, "did ya bring Cloud?"

Vincent opened his eyes and gave a nod to his friend.

D eyed the newcomer, but found nothing wrong with him in the slightest, so turned his attention to the stairs, wondering when Angeles was going to come down.

"Alex went on a suicide mission," said Yuffie, catching Cid up to speed, "Spehiroth's still alive and someone's creating materia for this world, copying the black materia even."

Remy flopped into his seat, dropping the materia that had been in his arm into the box. "Eh. This one doesn't work."

Max came down in a completely different outfit of green and purple hues, trying her best to match the green glow from her new secret weapon. Overhearing Yuffie's question, Max rushed to Remy's side. "Yeah! We tried all the element name thingies, and nothin'! I think..." She pulled out the topmost one, thinking that Remy hadn't replaced it long ago. "This one, maybe?"

Sosol sent a drink toward Cid, pretty confident that he'd find it to his liking. This was keeping him busy, distracted...and on some level, it was nice.
