Chris came downstairs to find his friends in good spirits, apparently involved in some sort of game. "Hi, guys. How's it going?"

"Mind sex?" Angeles blushed slightly and giggled into her hand before turning, "Chris!" she moved out of her spot and over to the man, all of her vampiric, or as Emily put it 'pointy' features were gone, "I'm glad you're here, I need to speak to you."

Chris was speechless for a moment as he saw Angeles. So she really is human, now. He had to admit that she looked quite different from before, but he hoped she was adjusting well. "Hi, Angeles. What can I do for you?"

Angeles waved her hand at the group, letting them know that she would return to the game once she was finished, "when I was... you know," she looked a little sheepish as she continued, "being stupid and trying to play the evil martyr, you came and spoke to me on the mountain. After you left I dropped my kit there, but when I went back to get it, after I was done being stupid, it wasn't there. Did you go back and pick it up?"

"No, I don't know who has it. Kage was on the mountain that night. You might try asking her." He placed his hand on her shoulder. "By the way, it wasn't the brightest way to go about it, but I can understand the desire to want to protect your friends. Nothing stupid about that."

Angeles sighed and nodded before looking up at Chris' touch. She smiled and touched his hand, "thanks," she then took his hand away from her, still often surprised at the people she no longer wanted to eat, Chris having been one of the ones she had to fight hardest against the thirst for. She turned around with a smile and said "alright, back to the game, I believe someone needs to ask me a question not concerning my real name."

Angeles stopped and turned to look at Chris with a surprised expression, "feel?" she asked before smiling, "I feel different, strange in some ways. There are things I like about it and things I do not. But that's just what being simply 'alive' is all about isn't it?"
She grinned, "I'm counting that as my question," she said turning to the others then stuck her tongue out playfully.

Chris gently smiled at her response. "Sounds about right. Glad to see you smiling, Angeles."
He thought to himself as he turned towards the kitchen, allowing the others to get back to their game. He knew that he and Angeles had often clashed and any day they got along was a good day, but he had always considered her a trusted ally. He knew that when the chips were down, he could always count on her to stand firm and do what she believed to be right. He was glad to see her get a new lease on life and hoped she made the most of it. In fact, from the looks of things, she already was.
Striding into the kitchen, he found a familiar lump of feathers half buried in the fridge and chuckled to himself. "Nate, I could set my watch by you."
The firebird popped his head out and gave a goofy grin as his wings hauled out the makings of another signature sandwich.

With an audible pop, Gren and Alex appeared in the room, Gren dusting himself off as he pocketed the teleporter. "Phew...good to be back."

Fenyx waved towards Angeles. "Hello. If you think I'm being annoying, you can still kick me out! Of course... I have infinite places that I could be, I just love this inn." He un-summoned his fans as he saw Gren and Alex appear in the room.

As more and more people entered the Inn using various methods, Tyler strolled back toward his table, looking over his the design. The break turned out to be a good thing; he had a couple ideas on how to improve it, and they would have been hard to do if they were already assembled...
