"I was hopin' ya would," Max said, nudging Remy. "We need at least four."
"Well, that's what we've got right now," Azana said with a grin. "And with this many, no one has to sit out."
"Have fun, kids," Tyler said with a chuckle, twisting together a couple wires.
"Stop soundin' so old, Ty!" Max teased, waving as she headed for the door.

'Woo! let's go!" said the girl, romping out the door, Remy strolling out after, holding the door for others.
"Have fun!" Gren smiled and waved, looking a bit sadly to Tyler. "30's old?"

"You're old," said Alex casually, glancing at Gren. Angeles snickered in her seat, glancing at D as he made his way up the stairs.

Azana and Max followed close behind, the latter explaining some of the house rules to the former.
"Hardly...she just always gets that way when I call her a kid," he answered, looking over his work so far. "Aside from your little excursion, how have things been...?"

Gren gave Alex a mildly foul look. "Bet you won't think so when you're 30."
Turning away from her, he replied "It's okay...that business dinner's going forever, if you ask me, but ah, not much. Work's going well."

"If Stella has that much business to discuss with him, I bet he's thinking the exact same thing," Tyler commented with a smirk, giving a nod of approval before setting one thing aside and taking up another. "She does tend to overload us from time to time..."
"I just don't think she trusts most of the organization with the important stuff," Sosol said, glancing out the door. "After all, there are quite a few people under her who are anything but supportive. Thus, we get the lion's share."

"True enough...makes me wonder what the rest of the GMO does." he smiled. "Still, he asked her for it, so it's his own fault...maybe he's discussing that teaching position he was offered?"

"I don't think I'll live that long," said Alex tilting her head slightly, "I'll be surprised if I live past twenty-one," She looked at the door as it opened. After much waiting, Cloud finally walked in. Alex stood up and walked over, grabbing the man by the front of his shirt and pulled him down so that her mouth was by his ear.
A look of mild surprise changed into concentration and his hand fell to the girl's shoulder as she whispered to him.
After a while she let Cloud go and the blond looked at her then around at the people.
"Alright," he said almost as flatly as Alex and turned and walked out the door that hadn't even had the chance to close. The sound of a motorcycle leaving turned Alex and moved her back to her seat.
"Glad that's finally taken care of."

"I can answer that question," Kristen said, finally appearing in the main room. "As for Miss Stella's distrust, it is not unjustified..."
"I was wondering when you would join us...you missed an entertaining game of Hot Potato," Sosol said with a grin. "You hungry or anything?"
"I don't think he really knew what he was signing up for..." Tyler said before stopping, looking up to Gren. "Teaching position?"

"Yeah, teaching. A professor position at the local university, I think it was." he smiled. "Hello Kristen. What question?"

"The occupation of the rest of the Gaian Metaphysical Organization," she answered with a nod. "Pushing around as much paper as I have, you learn quite a bit about its workings." She looked over to her Brother, sending a quick message.
You always worry so much about others...this time, however, you are correct. I will handle it myself, though, if you don't mind.
"Professor MacPere...now I've heard everything. Is he going to go for it?" The thought of teaching always interested him, even though he knew it wasn't the most compatible occupation. Tenure, low pay, students who didn't care about the subject...he was better off where he was.
No problem, Sosol answered, finding her refusal almost a point of pride. He could see she was trying to become more and more independent...so was that why she was avoiding HQ? Or did that still have to do with their sister?

"Oh, ha right..." he chuckled. "And yeah, he might...I think he likes being called Professor, more than anything else. But he's well-set, even with the low pay, and he gets to be a workaholic if he's got nothing to do. I think he'd enjoy it."

"I could see that...he certainly likes keeping himself busy." Tyler went silent for a moment, looking over his half-built device with a hum of thought. "Maybe....yeah, that might work."
Kristen looked over the incomplete project with a knowing smile. She could see it coming together in Tyler's mind, and the finished product looked fantastic. "It will work," she said simply before strolling across the room to collect a drink from Sosol. Explaining the GMO's actions would take a while, depending on the detail they wanted.

"He does...no matter how it stresses him out." he smiled gently. "Even in that whole financial mess, he remembered...being busy works for him."

"I can relate," Tyler said, somewhat distracted as he continued to assemble his scanner. "I just go for a different busy, I suppose."
Kristen sat nearby with a glass of iced green tea, sipping on it as she watched the two.
