Enta winced as MacPere stormed upstairs, ears drooping. Had he offended the man somehow? 'Figures...the boy thought bitterly to himself, the buzzing in his head escalating swiftly and painfully, 'Every time I try to be brave... Bad stuff always happens...'

"Grencia, I have a spreadsheet to type then then I need to go and pick Emily up... I'll be able to see soon, alright?" He offered a small smile before disappearing down the upstairs hall, entering the apartment.

(When Enta's nervous, everything is exaggerated to him. It's nothing against MacPere, Enta's just a fraidy-cat! Lol)
Enta's ears perked slightly at Gren's exclamation. He felt slightly embarassed and a little wary. Most who saw his ears immediately tried to yank on them to see if they are real or make fun of them. His tail swayed slightly behind him, completeing a rather adorable Neko Boy picture.

Angeles and D were speaking to each other in Finnish. She continued to glance at the new people of the inn, but most of her attention as to D, the conversation was obviously private, even in a foreign language it was spoken in hushed tones.
Eventually though Angeles smiled, her voice picking up as she said something in parting and went to the kitchen. She returned with whatever left-over pancakes there had been and took them up the stairs with her. D tapped the table with the tip of his middle and index finger twice before standing up and following.

Sighing to himself, MacPere strolled down the stairs and walked to the door as he sorted his briefcase and corrected his tie. He should have known better than to use the laptop in bed... it always made him drowsy.
"I'm going to get Emily then stop at the office..." He called to none in particular, closing the case and opening the front door. "I'll be a few hours."

Enta blushed furiously, but looked somewhat pleased with the compliment. The short young man gazed up at Gren and gave the musician a shy smile in thanks. Then, he tilted his head towards Gren a bit, ears giving a shy bob. "Y-you can touch them if you want..."

"Brother, have you seen my badge?" Kristen asked, arriving downstairs with a disappointed frown. "I seem to have misplaced it."
"Haven't seen it, no," Sosol answered, doing some random tidying around the main room. "Are you sure it didn't just fall under your bed or something?"
"I checked there," she replied flatly, folding her arms as she glanced around. "It is not in my room."

Said ears drooped. Enta carefully placed the headphones back over his delicate ears, And turned back to his food. "The p-pancakes are really good." He murmured, his shy demeanor back in place.

"Correct," Kristen answered with a pout. "One similar to the one Azana flaunts now...I thought I left it on my nightstand."
"You did," came a voice from the staircase. Tyler, wearing an unusually smug smirk, held up her badge. "I needed to borrow it for a bit."
"You stole it."
"Pretty much," he answered. "At least I'm giving it back...of course, you'll be thanking me soon."
"And why would that be?" Sosol asked, leaning on the bar with a slightly skeptical gaze over his glasses. Tyler usually limited his thievery to Aekea's industrial district...
"Because Taylor's as clever as I gave him credit for, and then some."
