Azana took a seat with Stella, watching the performance.
"Is he alright...?" Stella whispered.
"Yeah...just needs a little air..." She answered.
Sosol grinned over to Enta...he really did have a good voice when he stopped being so nervous...
"So why're you sad?
Don't you know that
It's you who holds my dreams and seems to always come back?" It was Enta's turn to take over the chorus, Sosol backing him up with the harmony...

Sosol continued in the harmony, though he glanced over at Enta. Did this song mean something to him...? After the bridge, he set up the chorus for Enta one more time, letting him take most of the spotlight.
"So why're you sad?
Don't you know that
It's you who holds my dreams and seems to always come back?"
Azana watched the performance, wondering how on Earth Sol knew this song...or was he pulling her incantation trick?
Stella listened to the music, her own eyes misting up slightly with the performance.

A fleeting memory of that snowy day flickered through his mind. Yes, he remembered... This was the song his brother taught him...

Stella set down her now-empty glass and applauded the two. "Bravo!"
"You guys sound great together," Azana said with a smile, worries far from her for the time being.
Sosol grinned. "See? They--you alright, Enta...?"

Enta stood on stage, trembling, arms wrapped around himself as tears continued to flow like rivers from his closed eyes.

That was supposed to make everyone feel better, Sosol thought, putting an arm around the catboy and guiding him off-stage. He liked having Enta around, but even without that Felix nightmare, he still seemed so fragile...
"I wasn't that bad, was I...?" He joked, trying to cheer him up.
Azana stood up to fetch some tissues, leaving Stella to her own devices.
Finding the day to be somewhat of a bust, Stella stood, leaving a tip for Sosol as she turned to leave. She'd just have to keep her schedule open, she supposed...a hard task in this month of mayhem.
Part of her was tempted to visit Eli, but she thought against it. Gren would likely rush to him the moment he found out, and her presence, even as a friend, might be somewhat awkward...

Gren stood in the doorframe of the stairs, cellphone dangling from his hand with the note, looking a new shade of angry. "Does anyone want to tell me why my husband has shipped out?" he said in a clear, dark tone.

"I'm sorry, Gren, I encouraged it," Azana answered, emerging with a box of tissues for Enta. "Angeles brought Alex back to the Inn to protect her from some vampire, and Eli flipped. It was all I could do to calm him a little, make him rational about this...he's at his apartment, if you want to see him."

Enta gave a choked whimper at Gren's arrival. He could feel the fury pouring from the normally kind man, and that scared him most of all. He immediately tried to hide his face in Sol's shirt, tiny whispers of "I'm sorry..." escaping him.

Gren's eyes were very cold as he listened, his presence lacking its ditinct mellow quality. "She's been protected from her own mistakes too long. If she wants to get attacked by vampires, let her. Hunt down homicidal maniacs? May he stab her to death and spare me the drama. Anyone who causes this much trouble intentionally is trouble for me and the Inn, and should I see her, she'll have to straighten out that attitude before I put a bullet between her eyes."
He sneered, obviously in no mood for such. "Anything else?"

Sosol gave Enta's back a gentle rub, a little intimidated himself by Gren's anger. He was accustomed to Eli's by now, but this was completely different. "One thing I should probably warn you of...Eleanora stopped by. She, erm...I don't want to ruin the surprise, but she has a fiance and is afraid of how Eli will take the news."
"She what?" Azana asked, looking over in disbelief. "Wow, I missed a lot..."

Enra strummed out the last of the song as they ended. He let out a hard breath.
"It's moments like these that should last forever."
Bells knelled in the air.
"Or at least until that happens."
He grabbed his coat and guitar as the blue winds picked up around him.
"Sorry, Gren, I'll have to leave the others to--"
His voice withered as he disappeared, expecting to come back some time soon. Fully clothed, hopefully.
((Hmm. I blacked out again people. Sorry. crying I'm probably not going to be able to make the normal time anymore and just play it safe with something later. I am deathly serious when I say that I got up today and started walking into things because I was so tired. sweatdrop Until next time, loves.))

"I hate people who act like they're the only ones unhappy in the world..." he grumbled, sitting at the bar in a huff. "I'll head to his apartment later. If she shows up, I can't say that I'll be entirely accountable for my actions."
Hearing about the fiancee, he blinked. "She wha-?" He cooled, if only one whit. "Is he nice?"

Enta remained silent and curled against Sol, his tail wrapping around his thigh. Even his whimpers had stopped, and he seemed to be holding his breath, all noise and movement ceased for fear of attracting any sort of attention.
(Seriously, man. That stuff called sleep? It's good for you!)
