"Not yours. Hers, apparently...at least until the vampire is dispatched," Azana answered. "Trust me, I get that you'd be upset by it...I'm still coming to terms with it myself."
Tyler walked in the door with a smile and a stretch...as well as a full bag of gear. "Goooood evening, everyone!" He greeted, a little too cheerful for his own good, before he noticed the expressions of those inside. "...might as well kill the buzz now while it's fresh. What's up?"

"I dream of nights like this...perfect weather, waning moon, and amazing finds. The patrols are getting more clever, though...I have seriously never seen people so protective of what they throw out." Tyler looked around, seeming a little disappointed. "Where's Sol?"
"Arranging a play date with Kristen," Azana answered with a chuckle. "Girl's been through too much...she deserves a little fun."
"I didn't need to be told that, Az. Besides all that's happened, you should have seen how serious she was about that materia research." Tyler shrugged, heading toward the bar to get himself something to drink.

"What did I miss...? It's written all over you two." Tyler took off his glasses for a moment, cleaning them of dust. "Considering even Gren seems a bit ruffled...something about MacPere?"
"He, erm, moved out temporarily...personal problems with another resident."
"Not Gren, obviously." Tyler was actually enjoying playing this little guessing game. "Hmm...not Angeles. He's never been angry at a GMO agent, well, except me."
Azana sighed with exasperation. "Alex."
"Oh, really? I'm sure I don't even want to know what she pulled to get on his bad side. Good mood and all."
"You'd be right."

Gren returned with the bottle, smiling. "There we are..." he counted the shots, blending each evenly with the cola and adding a hint of vanilla. Taking one for himself, he slid over the others. "Enjoy!"

Gren chuckled. "Better to be prepared for it, Az...who knows, it might not be so bad this time. I mean, last year was pushing the limit for bad, I think."
He checked his phone with a frown, downing his drink and rinsing the glass. "He's asking for me...I'd best get going." He waved with a sigh, heading out. "See you tomorrow, with any luck...let me know about Kristen."
