Devyn and Lestat stared, wide-eyed looks of bewilderment clearly evident on their faces, as one of the newcomers - 'Felix', apparently - began bouncing about like a madman.
All from a cup of tea, apparently.
"You sure we've found th'right place now?" Raising a questioning blonde eyebrow, Devyn gave his raven-haired counterpart a sideways glance.
"I believe so, yes." Lestat blinked a few times.
One of the other newcomers - 'Albee' - was apparently a genie, and he was asking Charlotte to wish for him to fix an evidently broken table.
"Oh, I think we're going to fit right in here, Devyn."
"Because everyone here is nutso, to a certain degree?"
"Among other things, yes..."
(( sorry for poofing...had to take my dog for a walk sweatdrop ))

"Yes! Thank you, thank you!"
Albee's hands glowed as they touched Charlotte's, and the triangle of flesh revealed by Albee's headwrap shone with a burst of light. The sound of wood scratching against each other was heard, and when everyone gained their sight back, The table was completely returned to normal, with an additional vase of roses on top.
"I hope you don't mind the roses."
The genie scratched his head, embarassed.

"Believe me, you don't know the half of it." sighed Remy, leaning against the bar. "It's pretty insane when a baseline normal is a vampire gamer who paints for a living."
Charlotte blushed a bit, charmed. "The roses are perfect! You're just the cutest thing~"
(No problem! Real life takes precedence! biggrin )

Charlotte bit her lip, restraining a squeal. This little fellow was nothing more than a squeaking toy to her. She garbled something about adorability and gave the kid a squeezing hug.

"Then it's settled." Arms crossed over his chest, Lestat's midnight-blue gaze turned to focus on Remy. "Devyn and I are staying here at the Inn."
"Like I'd leave, anyway." The blonde laughed. "I almost forgot how much fun bein' behind a bar is!"
"Like I said, you do have a knack for putting on a bit of a show." Lestat raised a bemused black eyebrow. "Imagine what'll happen when there's a packed house, watching you."
"Let 'em watch." His memory loss aside, Devyn performed rather well under pressure. "S'all the more fun for me, anyway."
"So yes, Charlotte." Lestat turned to the girl, who currently had Albee in a death-grip of a hug. "If you don't mind too terribly, Devyn and I are going to stick around here for a while."
"If it helps, we don't bite~."

"Oh, you guys~" she chuckled, letting the poor boy go. "Who am I to tell you yes or no? This is a place for everyone, of course you can stay!"
She walked over, keeled boots clicking on the floor, until she was by the two rather taller gentlemen. "All of the rooms are upstairs, any empty one is free." she smiled, gesturing in echo of an airline stewardess.

Albee was taken into the hug, crushed by the intense pressure but enjoying every second of it.
Hugs... are so much better... than apple juice...
He was dropped by Charlotte as she walked over to the newcomers, falling flat on his back as he stared up at the ceiling, sighing happily.
So... great...
He made his way up to his feet and joined Charlotte next to the newcomers.
"Hiya! I'm Albee! You two are really tall!"
He held Charlotte's hand from her hip and waved at them, smiling through his wrap.

Charlotte's assumption was indeed correct - Lestat and Devyn were rather tall gentlemen. The blonde stood at around 6'3", the raven-haired man about 6'6".
"What, no complimentary peanuts?" Devyn couldn't help but chuckle at Charlotte's stewardess-like actions.
"Now-now, Devyn." Lestat chuckled as well, making his ways towards the stairs that led to where all the rooms in the Inn were. "I'm sure that's one of the perks of working here."
"Now why don't you introduce yourself to Charlotte's genie-like accomplice." Turning on his heel, Lestat headed upstairs. "I'm going to check out the rooms here, alright?"
"Aye-aye, skippy." As his raven-haired counterpart headed upstairs, Devyn returned to behind the bar, almost immediately busying himself with washing the few dirty glasses there were.
"So who's the magical table fixer?" He raised a curious blonde eyebrow at the 'little guy' as he introduced himself as Albee.
"Ahh~." He nodded in greeting. "I'm Devyn, and th'one that just headed upstairs is Lestat."
"Guess I'm new bartender here." He chuckled, continuing to wash the dirty glasses.

"Albee." she said simply, pointing at the small being in hand.

He raised his wrapped head high, proud of his title.

"Good on ya, Albee." He grinned slightly, nodding. "M'not a magical creature myself--" He and Lestat are both extraordinarily talented humans, for the record. "--but I'd like t'think that I have a few talents of my own."

Speaking of talented individuals, Lestat managed to find two vacant rooms next to each other upstairs, near the back of the floor, and on the right-hand side.
'This is strangely convenient now, isn't it...' The raven-haired man chuckled to himself, entering one of the two rooms.

"So, outta curiosity..." Devyn's gray-green eyes settled on Albee. "...what broughtcha here, anyway?"

Albee placed his fists on his hips, adopting a hero pose.
"I go out and grant people's wishes benefitting hamkind. Or at least, that's what the doctor told me to do..."
"Mankind, Albee. That's mankind."
Another visitor entered. It was a man, around 5'10", wearing a pair of loose jeans, glasses, a handkerchief around his neck, a top hat, and no shirt. In his hands were a baseball bat and a lit cigarette.
"Ah, doctor!"
Albee ran to the man with arms wide open. But the man stuck out his bat and caught Albee straight in the forehead, sending him backwards. He sat on the floor, rubbing his head.
"Doctor, that hurt!"
The man stuck his cigarette in his mouth, clenching it between his teeth.
"You're not supposed to run into bats, then."
Albee thought about it.
"You're too smart for me, doctor."
"Yes. Yes I am."
The doctor turned to the others in the inn.
"And you all are...?"
He gripped the bat in his fist, wondering whether or not they had abused Albee.

Fenyx detected a dark, evil presence moving through the timestream. War's blade! Why didn't I see this before? He saw a flash of darkness, and it passed by him. He stood for a second, wondering what was going on.
