"Wheee! Ah I'm good, let me--Yow!"
Albee had tried walking, but promptly stepped into a table. He fell backwards, but flipped his small body in mid-air, landing on his feet. But a certain other thing had slipped down... off his face.
He rushed over to the counter receiving his new drink in his hands.
"Got a new drink! Got a new drink...~"
The boy looked around.
"What's wrong? Let's all have carbonated drinks! Yay!"
His skin was blue, with long pointed ears and a head of white hair. Albee's eyes were still their blue color, but now both could be seen. A broad smile shone across his face as he simply held the glass, too excited to drink yet.

'Not since the coma...turns out, whenever he gets over a coma, something's not quite the same...first one he woke up from, he started liking celery. Now he's not afraid of flying." he grinned. Looking to Max, he nodded. "I gave Tyler a ride to mars a coupla months ago...don't see why I couldn't give you a joyride either, though I suppose the next one's for James once he's better. He doing okay?"
Charlotte beamed, holding up the scarf. "You dropped this." she warbled, ruffling his hair.

"Huh...as long as it helps, I guess," Sosol answered, chuckling at the genie's request. Something carbonated for everyone? That wasn't difficult.
"Really?! No way!" Max hopped a little from the excitement, though mention of James calmed her down, her eyes turning to Sosol for the answer.
"He's been better," Sosol answered, focusing on fixing something for everyone, "but all things considered, it could have been worse..."

"No moon?" Max blinked, trying to wrap her head around the fact. "Definitely wanna hop around then!"
"We don't have any proof, but I'm pretty sure that's the case." Sosol sent out a few other carbonated drinks to fellow patrons. "The set-up was too well done to be otherwise...it seemed a lot like Az's sabotaged test, except a little more subtle."

"No such thing, unfortunately," Sosol said, shaking his head. "I'm more stumped by how she's pulling all this off, as well as why. Sibyl's never really been one for interfering in just about anything..."
"She refuses to leave Delphi, does not respond to any letters or calls...entirely isolated for almost all parts of the day," Kristen agreed, picking up the conversation as if she had been sitting there the whole time. "I am concerned, though...myself, Azana, James...others are at risk."

Charlotte looked over. "What if you flooded her mind, then? With nonsense and noise? Old psychic or not, there's only so much any mind can take..."

"Oh! Thank you, ma'am. But actually, I kind of want to savor the air a bit."
Albee proceeded to remove his extras until he was down to his pants and shirt, even removing his boots and placing everything off to the side. Each article landed with a thud as they were dropped.
"Doctor says that putting weights in my clothes will make me stronger, but it starts to hurt after a while, y'know?"
He started to do stretches in the middle of the inn, waving his short arms in the air.
"But at least I've still got my carbonated!"
The child ran to his juice and looked into it for the first time. He squealed with delight.'
"It's got little bubbles!"

In his room, Howard twisted in his sleep.
"Albee, no... You're gonna..."

"When we were in Delphi?" Sosol echoed, thinking back. It had been years... "I don't really remember anything except lessons and predictions. In hindsight, it was incredibly boring..."
"The only people we would see were the caretakers and the scribes...on extremely rare occasions, Chairman Stevenson would check on us," Kristen filled in the blanks, a thoughtful expression on her face. "The staffing there has, for the most part, been reassigned...there is still enough there for her, though."
"Flooding her would be worth a try...but I am not sure how to go about that," he said to Charlotte. "She has more experience than either Kristen or myself...perhaps even both combined."

Having kept quiet throughout the conversation, MacPere placed down his newspaper and dug out his phone, calling up Stella and leaving a message. "Stella? I revoke my last message. There is no way I'm leaving you in that death trap alone, alright? Get back to me."

"Still, you did readings on people...you were in their minds. And once you're in, and you can take something, who's to say you can't leave something behind?"
He glanced to his husband at the message, nodding. They'd sort that out later, but he'd be damned if he'd ever leave them alone together again.
"Easy. Sosol, are you willing to try and take a sample of what I mean? Kristen? Because I'm going to think a lot of things very loudly."

Kristen shook her head to Gren. "That is why we were kept isolated, to prevent those connections. We were to speak of events only. Azana was, and remains, an anomaly..."
"The de-programming, though...she had very brief contact with everyone in question." Sosol nodded. "That's definitely an idea...and there should be a way to finding that trace."
"And you'd have your proof!" Max concluded with a broad smile. "Ya just gotta find one of 'em!"
"Easier said than done...our expert on this is lying in a hospital bed."
"Oh yeah...man, this sucks!"
"Brother would be a better choice, Charlotte...he is more accustomed to filtering information than I." Kristen nodded to him, a little reluctant to do so herself given her youth and that little addition of firepower.
