Zulma came back from the kitchen with two cups for Gren and herself. Apparently Angeles did not want any.
She put her mug on the table then headed for D.
"I brought some for Angeles, but I guess she does not need them anymore. Maybe you'd care for one?" She asked in a voice both hopeful and tired.
In her hand, some of her blood homemade candies.

The guttural growl from Felix's chest could have made a Spartan's blood run cold. His right hand twitched with the intense urge to swipe at the infuriating young male. Pupils slitting, he glared at the genie, his warning obvious. Abigail yipped at Albee, tilting her head.

There was no movement at first, the D lifted his head until he could see Zulma from beneath the brim of his hat. His gaze flickered down to the candies before he carefully reached over and took one from her hand. He needed it, especially with the scent of the doctor's blood permeating the room.
From the seat by where Zulma had been sitting Baldur glowered. He did not trust that dhampir because of his vampiric blood.
Angeles looked over at a growl and hummed slightly, the corner of her mouth twitching down before moving towards Felix, "watch yourself newcomer," she said almost pleasantly, "or I will be tossing you out."

Zulma respected the man's silence and dropping a couple more candies on the table she went back to her mug which she took before going to sit by the fireplace.
Mentally she sent a warning towards Baldur, half controlled, half instinct since her pregnancy. She was tired of his overwhelming protectionism.

Baldur almost flinched at the warning but looked away from D who was looking at the candy as if he could eat it with his eyes. Despite the warning, Baldur moved slightly closer to her. D unwrapped the candy and brought it to his nose, inhaling lightly the scent before having a conflict of ideals. Finally he put it in his mouth and settled in the chair, tilting his head back down and hiding his face with his hat.

Felix's only acknowledgement of the female was a light glower sent her way before his attention returned to Albee. He slipped one powerful arm around the chaos-weilder's waist poseasively. Abigail, however seemed to have other ideas. She barked at Angeles, apparently unhappy with her comment about throwing Felix out.

Albee caught the hint from the tall man's glare and twittchy hand.
"Hmm... close friend, eh?"
He let go of Charlotte's hand, missing her touch already, but bringing both hands to the alligator fox. The genie wasn't sure whether or not the yip was one of enjoyment from gnawing on his hand or warning of the impending doom, but either way, he hoped his attention would solve both.
"So, uh... your dog? Thing? Looks more like a fox, though. So... eheheh."
Albee knew that he would have to get past this hurdle of a man to be able to be with Charlotte, and he knew that getting friendly with the guy would make things much easier.

"Oh how cute," was all Angeles said to the barking creature before looking at Felix, "mark my threat stranger, I have even less tolerance for trouble than I previously had. And you do not frighten me; I hunt vampires," she reached up and began to undo the bandages on her face, peeling and plucking them off as she made her way to more suitable company.

With the widthdrawl of Albee's advances, Felix's bristling seemed to lessen. "I found her yesterday. Charlotte named her Abigail." As the genie focused on the hybrid fox, Felix stuck his tongue out at Angeles in a childish gesture. Abigail nuzzled and licked Albee's hand before likewise turning her attention to the human female. Parting her maw, she gave Angeles something close to a mocking smirk, an intelligent gleam in her two-toned eyes.

Zulma looked at Baldur sending him a wave of love. She always regretted being mean to him. He meant so much to her.
As he approached she put her head against his chest.
"I am sorry..." she whispered.

"I just want you to be safe," murmured the panther resting a hand on Zulma's head, "you and the babies. I don't trust these people, especially the newer ones," his golden gaze moved across the newcomers, "they might be trouble."

She looked up at him with imploring eyes.
"I hope you trust Gren and MacPere..." she whispered.

"Yes I trust them," said Baldur kissing Zulma's forehead before rubbing their noses together, "but... in all honestly my love... when has this been a place for peace? Especially with that accursed day approaching."

Zulma smiled, at least there was someone Baldur trusted.
"I love this place..." she pouted with a sigh then her eyebrow rose.
"Accursed day?" she had no idea what he was talking about.
Did he mean the day that brought them all together in a fight BOO against SIN? That was history.
She did not want to be gloomy, not after being back at the Inn.
