"Please do look at me when you are asking a question and expecting an answer."
Her golden eyes waited until D would turn his head then only she would answer.

D didn't say anything, nor did he look back at Zulma, merely waited for Angeles to return. Baldur huffed, satisfied before he sat down beside Zulma.

As the man did not look back at her, Zulma did not answer to his question.
"I am thirsty." she said blankly at Baldur.

Baldur looked over at D before he stood and moved to the kitchen. D then looked over at Zulma, just barely from under the brim of his hat.

Zulma looked at Baldur and whispered a thank you.
Then her eyes turned to the strange man standing not too far. She was curious about him. Why did he have to look at her like that? Was he hiding something?

D blinked then tilted his head down so that his eyes were hidden. He would not repeat himself. He could live without knowing. She'd have the children eventually.

The sound of tidal waves from all around the inn splashed, and a cork pop signalled the return of Garble, the orange winged egg.
"Hey,everybody,myo!Ishebackyet,myo?"
Garble spun around once, before anyone could respond.
"Iguessnot,myo.Hey,I'mstartingtoseewhyEnralikedtocomehere,myo!"
The egg bounced over to Zulma, smiling with its eyes.
"Hiya,myo!I'mGarbleDeGoop,TheDiligentTroop,myo!What'syourname,myo!"

Zulma looked at the strange egg with a smile as it approached she chuckled and patted the top of it gently.
"I am Zulma. Nice to meet you Garble."
Although hours ago she did not get a word of what it said, now it sounded perfectly normal, however she was unable to answer to it in its own way of speaking. She hoped that it would understand her way of speaking.

Seeing the relative drop in people, Sosol slipped from the bar, joining his adopted sister at her table. "Now, what was this about a nightmare?"
"I...I was troubled in my sleep, but now that I am awake, I cannot recall the images that caused my anxieties," Kristen explained, sipping at her tea that had since grown cold. "If it concerns our troubles with sis--Sibyl, I must remember."
Max slid down the banister, hopping to a stop as she looked over the main room. Wondertwins, Egg-thing, and...
"OMG who has buns in the oven?!" She asked excitedly, approaching Zulma.

Zulma chuckled as she heard Max.
"Hehe it might be me!" she smiled. "Unexpected isn't it?!" she mused still petting the egg with a gentle hand.
She laughed as the egg did not get the expression.
"Well Mister Garble, here is my oven." she pointed at her round tummy.
"And inside are two little buns!" she chuckled.

Zulma burst laughing, a genuine bubbling laughter which filled the Inn.
She looked at Garble shaking her head.
"I do not grow my own food, the buns are babies. I am pregnant." she explained gently.
