Remy poked his head into the room from the top of the stairs. "Anyone making cake? I smell straw...beh...rry." he started, tapering off in realization, and quickly wondering if he'd gotten together with Max by then.

Giving an amused giggle, she shook her head, eyes narrowed. "No, no...that's fine," Laura took up a straw from the dispenser and placed it in the glass, standing from the stool. "I don't expect my clients to remember me, believe me." Noting the man at the top of the stairs, she gave a wink to him, sipping at the juice with a delighted smile.

There was a lingering thought in the back of his mind that Felix was supposed to be baking, but the embarrassment of forgetting someone drowned it out pretty quickly. "I understand, but I'm usually a little better at that..."
"I think you were busy doing your best beet impression," Tyler said with a chuckle, standing from his usual table and approaching the pair at the bar. "I second Remy's question...people don't usually come all the way out here just to say hi."

"So many questions and I've only just arrived!" Laura giggled, taking the handle of her suitcase and proceeding up the stairs in her heels, releasing the straw to beam at Remy. "Can I catch up with you all in the daylight? I'm beat... I promise to pay for the room in the morning!" Finding a room with a convenient 'vacant' sign on its doorknob, Laura sauntered inside and shut the door behind her, ready to settle for the night.
(I am absolutely not going to be able to get up in the morning (which is... somewhat now). Goodnight~!)

Tyler's eyes followed her across the room and up the stairs, not entirely sure of what to make of her arrival. Considering his girlfriend could lift the main room's worth of furniture when angered...it probably wasn't a good idea to get too friendly.
"Easy. She's an old acquaintance of mine," he answered, looking to Sosol. "As long as you can keep from turning too red, Sol..."
"Easier said than done," he replied, working on pushing that rather vivid memory out of his mind. Sure, Az probably wouldn't mind...but it was still embarrassing to think about.

Remy nodded. "You can manage it, Sosol...just think of something god-awful at the same time, or I can do it for you." He'd settled down, recalling that he wasn't an item yet. 'In the clear.'

Felix finally emerged from the kitchen, an impressively large cake iced in chocolate mousse and decorated with whipped cream and strawberries on a cake pedestal in his hands. He could immediately feel the tension in the room and opened his mouth as if to comment, but thought better of it and instead, the batter and icing smeared man set his creation on an open table before wiping his hands on his apron and giving a lopsided yet triumphant smile. His Piglet was going to love this.

Evalyn woke up real late, once again. She wasn't used to being able to sleep in for so long. She took her time to get up and relaxed while taking her shower. She then slowly came down the stairs, noticing only a few people she had talked to. "Does it smell like strawberries? ...Oh well." She headed over to the nearest table and waved at Sol and the other fellow she talked to on her way there.
