Zulma had smiled at Enta, she would find something.
She heard Laura's whisper.
"Hmmm?" she asked but Sosol entered and took the glass of Laura before Zulma could understand what she had said.
She stared and decided to go back to the cake.
"I think I'll have cake..." she sighed.

Felix adjusted easily to the slight weight on his back. "I'm thirty, Piglet. I'm plenty grown." He pecked her on the cheek in return, "And thank you, again. I can make lots of stuff like this." Fee-chan peeped from the top of his double's head in agreement. He handed Zulma a slice of cake with a shark-toothed smile.
Enta returned Zulma's smile and proceeded to the kitchen to wash his dish.

"Oh... thanks," she said with a smile, perching on a stool. "It was alright... the beds are just as comfortable as they look; which reminds me..." Laura pulled out her purse and counted through the cash she had, pouting slightly. "I don't have too much on me now, but how much's the room?"

Zulma turned to Laura.
"I have not met you before. I am Zulma, the innkeeper." She extended her hand. The mini-Baldur on her shoulder glowering at the new woman.

"No problem," Sosol answered with a grin. "In all honesty, there are people who stay around here and just clean to make up for it..."
Tyler finished his mug, humming in thought as he walked up to Sosol and Laura. "I honestly don't know how mine gets paid for," he confided quietly. Was it in return for his inventions and general help, or was Stella covering rooms for her field operatives? "So, rumor has it you were looking for me...?"

The MacPere chibi, which had been riding comfortably on Zulma's shoulder, squeaked happily and ran over to Laura, tail arched in chipper glee.

A friendly smile found Laura's lips as she met the hand with her own, shaking gently. "I'm Laura, the - uhm - the guest, I guess."
She swivelled around to face Tyler was a raised brow, sweet pout over her lips. "Don't flatter yourself, Tyler, I meant that you're the reason that I thought to come here. I overheard you talking about this place, and I was getting kind of sick of who my line of work brings in. I took a few weeks off and thought that it would be fun."
With a blink, Laura looked to the ground and cooed, gently scooping up the chibi and placing it on the counter. "Well, if I don't recognise you anywhere..."

Zulma chuckled as Mini-MacPere jumped towards Laura. That man in whatever form was a pervert! She laughed.
"Nice to meet you and welcome Laura." she said then turned back to her cake, smiling at Mini-Baldur as she ate.

"Puuriit!" was the chirped reply, with a nuzzle added before being set down. The chibi was soon enchanted by the remaining cake, and immediately dove onto a berry, picking it up and bringing it back to the woman. "Pii!"

"I'm sorry about the misunderstanding, then," he said, wondering if he had actually talked about this place that much. Sure, he enjoyed it here...why did that night have to be so fuzzy in his memory? "Either way, it's a very positive environment, if you don't mind things getting a little strange on a regular basis. For instance..." He pointed to the chibis running around the place, then to their source.
Sosol chuckled, taking Tyler's mug and replacing it with something else the genius would likely enjoy. He was somewhat curious about the idea of a mini-Sol...but he reasoned it was probably not that good of an idea.
Max came downstairs, humming a tune to herself before she stopped, staring at Tyler with narrow eyes before breaking out into a wild smile. "OMG she actually did it! I didn't think it'd work!!"
