[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

One thing that can be said for saxophone players: after a while, they get strong lips and lungs. After the kiss, Gren chuckled at the pun.

"Heh...that's true, you haven't. Have you any requests, or should I figure it out myself what you want to hear?"  

[Zulma san]

Zulma looked at Gren and MacPere on the other side of the room. She did not want to disturb them but at that moment, she had to admit that she envied them. She missed Karasu and was getting more and more sure, that he would never be back and she would never go after him. It was a soft breeze they had given to each other, but their relationship was no more...

Baldur seemed to understand her mood and he gently licked her ear with a purr. Zulma chuckled and turned back to the animal. "I know you won't leave me..." she smiled and hide her face in his fur.  

[Angeles Valentine]

Angeles slowly came down the stairs, having been missing for a little bit, though she would probably never tell anyone where she went, especially Zulma. She also paid careful attention to her thoughts for the various telepaths that were around. She saw Zulma sitting with her panther and she smiled slightly before retreating to her corner and sitting down as quietly as she could so as not to disturb anyone.  

[MacPere]

"Ah, you're smart, I feel that you can find something to suit the mood~" MacPere gave Gren's dark hair a stroke before standing from his lap and strolling to Zulma, placing a hand upon her shoulder in a comforting greeting.  

[Zulma san]

Zulma looked up to whom the hand belonged to and smiled when she discovered it was MacPere's. "How are you today?"
She looked in Gren's direction. "Is he going to play something for us...I mean you...?" she joked with a soft smile.  

[Gren_Eckener]

"Something for the lady, then..." Gren smiled sweetly at Zulma, his eyes crinkling just so, before heading to the stage, saxophone in hand. He pulled it out of its case, brass glowing warmly in the lights, and he set the strap over his shoulder. He didn't have a singer for this song set up, but he supposed that an instrumental rendering would work just as well.

Setting the reed to his lips, he began, rich and full in tone.

[MacPere]

MacPere strolled to the bar and poured himself a cool glass of water. He leaned forward, elbow against the counter's surface and tentatively sipped as his body swayed to the music. The mixed look of sheer concentration and simple elation upon Gren's features was gorgeous.

It was then he had a thought. He stood and strolled to Zulma, whispering into her ear about owing her a dance from before. Whether she took it was absolutely her choice.  

[Zulma san]

Zulma blushed..."for me?...but..." she did not know what to say and just smiled. She was happy to have close friends like Gren and MacPere...and Angeles which she noticed in her usual corner and waved at.
Zulma moved her shoulders in the rhythm of the song with a smile on her lips.

As MacPere's whisper, she blushed some more remembering the circumstances of the promise to dance together... and stood up. "Sure..."  

[Gren_Eckener]

Noting the dancers, Gren smiled inwardly, and set into a longer musical bridge. Any dance worth its while needed to have some good time for getting into it, and besides, he could play for a nice long while.  

[MacPere]

MacPere smiled gratefully and took her hand, leading her to the room's middle and holding her against himself, swaying a little to get the feel.

First his head nodded along, then his hips swayed in time and finally his feet kicked in, one arm casting the innkeeper out before drawing her back in slowly.

Zulma let her body echoed MacPere's move. She wished she was wearing something else than her pants and flat shoes. But she tried to be as graceful as she could be. She slowly spun and came back in MacPere's arms. She felt strange about dancing with MacPere's to Gren's music. But she although truly enjoyed it and her eyes were speaking for her, all bright and happy.

Through the bridge, Gren's fingers danced over the keys with a grace rarely found, and was sure to include points cuing steps in the dance. Those unsure of themselves on their feet usually benefited from such.

(It's called bisexuality, honey.)
