"How could I forget Uncle Remy?" Sosol asked with a chuckle. "Thanks...I didn't know if the gallery was keeping you busy or anything."
Azana played with her phone in her pocket. Remy did bring up a good point...Angeles and Emily were important to them, more so than her sometimes it seemed. Yet they chose to stay...she gave them that choice, though, and she wasn't going to drag them home. Not yet, at least.
Stella silently drank her wine, avoiding the conversation about Emily. She was tempted to just get up and leave, go home...but they'd have something to say about that, and she knew it.

"And that's only to keep me out!" Max said, bursting in the door and bringing some leaves with her. She was decked out in fall colors herself, shades of red, orange, yellow, and brown. "Hello, everyone!"
"I'll keep that in mind," he replied with a grin. "It's nice to see the old spirit of unity's still going strong around here..."
"Why wouldn't it? Especially now, when we're on the verge of our anniversary?" Azana asked, a little more cheerful now that she had reached a decision.

"Max!" Remy grinned. "How'd you know?" He chuckled, strolling over and drew a gold star beneath her right eye, in the corner. "Excellent job."
(And I'm off to bed, for class tomorrow is early...but don't worry Azana, we intend to be back before Halloween! heart Good night!)

((Alright...though you're giving the newlyweds a small taste of parenting. XD))
Max giggled, trying not to squirm with the tickle and cold of the gold paint and small brush. "What'd I know?" She asked with a blink before eying the canvas. "Oh, yeah! Totally knew that!" She pulled him into an enthusiastic kiss, giving a momentary distraction from work before patting his shoulder and heading for the stairs, letting him do his thing.
"Max, you might be better off elsewhere if your room is near Ty and James," Azana called after her, only to see her warning fall on deaf ears. Oh, well, she'd find out...

Howard came down the stairs, Albee piggybacking but asleep.
"Jeez... the kid asks me to teach him how to bake a cake and he goes and falls asleep in the middle of the lesson..."
Howard grunted as he laid Albee on the couch.
"Though I don't know why I brought him down."
Shrugging, he made his way into the kitchen, wondering what it was he would cook today.
"I'll try something a little fancier today. Fettucine alfredo or something of the sort."
He went through the pantry and gathered some fettucine, alfredo sauce, and a pot.
"Hmm, maybe chicken alfredo."
He added the chicken.
He sang an old song in his head to himself as he prepared the meal, pouring the noodles into the boiling water and chopping up a chicken breast.
"And if that's not lovin' me,
Then all I have to say...
Is that God didn't make little green apples
And it don't rain in Indianapolis in the summertime
And there's no such thing as Dr. Seuss,
As Disneyland, no Mother Goose, no nursery rhymes
He forgot the words at certain points, but simply hummed in those parts. Soon the heart-warming aroma of the chicken mixed in mid-air with the hot alfredo, swirling out of a crack in the door and throughout the Inn.

Enta came down the stairs dressed rather differently. Garbed in a simple white tank and grey sweatpants that were slung low on his hips to accommodate his tail. Pulling his hair back he smelled something savory. Who was cooking chicken this early?
As if on cue, the sleeping mass that was Felix rolled off of his couch. "More food?" he rumbled from the floor. He stood slowly. "Mornin' Enta..."
"G-good morning, Felix." Enta mumbled back before heading into the kitchen. "A... Little early for pasta, isn't it?" He asked Howard.

"Feh. The stomach knows no meal times, only fullness gauges. Besides, chicken alfredo may be great any time of the day, but when you've just woken up... ooh, that warm feeling is what really fills you right up rather than the food."
He filled three bowls with pasta and forks.
"Here ya go. I know my man on the couch over there is always glad to eat my cooking, eh?"

As Felix rolled off the couch, Albee fell over the rest of it, still snoring.

"Big guy, big appetite." Enta chuckled as he took two of the bowls and ventured over to where his brother had taken a seat at a table, his chibi snoring soundly on his head. "How-Howard made it..." Enta informed his taller sibling as he set his bowl in front of him before taking a seat himself.
Felix sniffed at the white mixture. "Mmmm! More chicken!" He dug in, but after a moment a thought seemed to strike him. "Speaking of chicken, I still haven't seen Abigail..." He mumbled as he took another bite. "I wonder where she went too..."

Howard chuckled to himself, helping his mouth to his own bowl.
"Indeed. By the way, Enta..."
He slurped a noddle up, leaving some white sauce on his lips which he licked up.
"You're looking surprisingly drab in comparison to what you usually wear. Goin' for some new looks?"

Enta looked down at himself. "This... I guess I just didn't feel like dressing up today..." He said in a rather solemn tone, eyes downcast and smile faint. Felix's tail twitched. He sniffed in Enta's direction. He did not.... Smell himself.
