He raised his head as he counted through each, then let it fall back to the bar with a clonk. His rabbit ears twitched a bit with each hit.

He massaged out the part where the ear had been tugged.
"These are my mother's idea of a practical joke. She told me if I could beat her in a duel, she would tell me the truth about my ancestor, Denfrie. I lost, and this was the penalty game."
He flopped them about, using muscles in them he hadn't thought of before.
"I don't think it's much of a penalty though, they seem pretty comfortable..."

"Seems like a pretty fair trade-off, you win and you learn something interesting, you lose and you get...bunny ears." Chase couldn't help but smirk at his predicament, it was good for hilarity value. "So, are those really on your head?" Chase wasn't exactly convinced they were real, but they looked convincing enough.

"Not all of the tests are paiful, a huge number sure, but not all of 'em." Chase said, speaking in Erik's cool and no nonsense accent.

His arms flopped at his sides under the table as he lay almost lifeless. This day. Not his. He rolled his head so that he faced Enta.
"So... have you done anything about it? Got anyone you fancy?"

"Hah, it's not a problem, just try not to break that." Chase said with a smile, it wasn't exactly a major insult to her so she let it go quickly. Chase's slitted eyes examined Enra, just to make sure he wasn't dead. Nope, but he looks like a ragdoll anyways.... "Hey, you alive over there?" Chase asked just because it seemed like a good time to ask.
