Thanks! Now, I'm waiting on my background check. This is the first year that they're doing early placement, so I didn't have much information about it. I went ahead and applied for it anyway. Early placement requires a background check, and I applied for it about a week after the application went live. I thought I had everything just right, and then I heard that if my fingerprints are rejected, then not only will I be disqualified from early placement, but I was also be rejected from regular placement as well. Knowing that all of that hard work hangs on whether or not my fingerprints are approved by the FBI is very nerve-wracking.

The fingerprints weren't clear enough. I have dry skin during the winter, so my fingers are all wrinkly and prune-like. It left some small gaps because of that. sweatdrop

@Moriko - They're going to re-evaluate the situation about fingerprints for early departures. If I'm lucky, they might move me on to regular departure if I don't get my background check back in time. The key word being might. lol

I've got all of my Christmas shopping done, but I've been gone so much that I haven't had a chance to do anything for Christmas on Gaia yet. I still haven't bought gifts for anyone yet, and I haven't done a thing for our guild Christmas party, not to mention the Annual Ball Christmas event. @_@ Tuesday is my last day of work before Christmas, so I'll definitely have something or other up for everyone. It just won't be too elaborate this yet. Sorry about that. sweatdrop
