Sure, it's a trend, which has been improving with Ermak's attempt at guild revival. You seem to be implying that it's bad though. While I'll admit it can sometimes be frustrating waiting on people to post, I'd rather have to wait a little now and then than be stressed out by the pressure to post several times a day. We have people in the guild with sporadic internet access at best, so giving them ample time and opportunities to respond to situation keeps things running smoothly, if not quickly. And personally I feel smooth is more desirable than quick, when it comes to creating quality RP stories.

I know you're trying to refresh things and all but making a new bio topic seems terribly redundant(I'll go do it anyway *grumble grumble* stare ). Also, shouldn't you LOCK the old one so that people don't post more in the old one?

In any case, I'm not even sure where to post because it seems that many of the actions I last made in character had no effect on surroundings. I know you're trying to make it easier for new members to join, but it's discouraging as hell trying to pick up the pieces for an oldbie. I'm about to start some senile rant about "Why in my day...!"

Can anyone active in the rps PLEASE give me a clear explaination of exactly what state my characters are supposed to be in, I know that when I made my last Ruo post Ermy wanted me to change something because she already had things planned to do with Freyr and such so my post became useless. Sabel in MMWS IS useless now that Vincent's dissappeared although I suppose I can react to that...Gotta figure out what is and isn't relevent to the story now *grumble grumble*

The purpose of the new bio topic, is so that only those people still active will have bios on the topic. there were so many posts in the old topic, and many of those bios are no longer used. Heck many of those posters are no longer active.

Also, the reason things have moved past what your characters were doing, was primarily because at the time we revived the guild, you weren't around, so we had no way of knowing if you were going to continue, so we tried to 'edit' the 'as things stand' so that the story could progress without your characters if necessary.

So my suggestion, rather than worrying as much about what they WERE doing, would be to find new things for them to do, if you can't fit their previous actions to what is going on now.

Also, since MMWS is loosely following the storyline of Advent Children, the reason Vincent 'dissappeared' was to help that scene fit in with the original movie. Vincent led off all the remnants who did not face Cloud, originally, and now is returning to rescue Cloud, and Marlene, in all his flying cloak wierdness we are familiar with from that scene in the movie. So Sabel can rush back, but will not be in time to stop him, unless of course you want this to become a little more AU, which is fine too. Up to you I guess.

As for Ruo, it wasn't so much that we already had plans for Freyr, it was more that the timing was off. Ruo had left Midgar after Slayer 1's call to Rufus, Slayer 1 was west of Rocket Town, and Freyr's and Leviathan's "suicide" attack took place moments after the end of the call, after Slayer 1 used his 'rocket propulsion' to catch up with them.

There is no possible way Ruo's hellicopter could have gotten there fast enough for what you'd originally posted. More likely than not she'd not even be out of Midgar's airspace in that breif interval.

Similarly, I asked a question in MMWS about Kuroi, not trying to make your post useless, but just trying to make sure we all understand what is going on, and when, and where.

If I'm able I'll supply you with a little bit of update information, though in most cases, you can read Ermak's "update" within the thread, and then the few posts we have since then, to catch up. I'm planning on doing an "update" post for Vengeance from the Skies soon as well.

As Angel said... the "Re-Intros" are supposed to allow the RP to start fresh without eliminating everything we've already done.

I had intended that characters could be moved if neccessary, so if you can't figure out something interesting for them to be doing from what they WERE doing, than just throw them somewhere else almost as if you were starting a brand-new RP. (and yeah... Ruo's post didn't make logical sense.)

The new Bio topic was intended so that we might actually FIND the Bios for active members, not to mention we needed to reassign the Cannon Characters anyways.

Locking is a good idea, I'll do that.

Y'know just because I wasn't *here* didn't mean there was no way for anyone to contact me. Just because I don't have *much* time doesn't mean I don't have any. Then again I guess I'm not really so important around here anyway...

*sigh* As for the Ruo thing, every time I try to do anything with her everyone jumps on my case about how she can't be doing what she is doing. So what SHOULD I do with her if everything I keep trying to do is wrong. I just want to have her at a point where there is actual character interaction rather than floating around in the sky 'unaware' of Yuffie. Same bones for Misopan, what the heck ever happened to him, last I heard he was on top of a building somewhere and Ermy never gave me an option to bring him back, always said he wasn't where I wanted to post him at, so I still have to wonder where is he?

But sheesh to this all, you guys are usually a bit more constructive in helping the newbie members out with this sort of thing. I'm not in your loop anymore, i have no idea what the current plans are to do what in any rp, I'm trying to keep my characters in some area of interest so that I can have somewhere to remain active.

As for Kuroi, I mentioned in that rp that after he was separated from Sabel during her fight with Cloud, he wandered off and came across Freyr. At least I had thought I'd explained that plan, it is now posted.
