MacPere leaned against a table in the main room, stirring his tea with slight frown and worry etched into his features. This was why he was beginning to get crow's feet, as his husband was so kind to point out. Perhaps was payback for having woken early to dress up and scare him out of bed before work intentionally.

"I don't see why you are so worked up about it, Laura..." He said with a light sigh, taking a sip from the teacup. He winced lightly; it needed more milk. "I got married 25 years ago and lost my wife. I didn't find anyone else until I was closer to 50 and the thought of dying alone and childless. Though, one of those still apply."

"I wish it were so simple..." she hummed, playing with a miniature plastic pumpkin. "I have nothing that makes me stand out. No quality to draw the men in. Max is a technological genius with connections everywhere; Tyler's girlfriend, Stephanie-"

"Stacy."

"-Stacy, right, she's some kind of psychic cop! Azana is a walking Van Der Graaf and Gren is... well, he's gay."

"That's a defining factor?"

"It seemed to net you."

MacPere grinned into his tea, taking another sip as his mind wandered elsewhere. "You have no idea..."

Laura lay her head on the table, pouting to the window. "I'll be branded a spinster or cradle snatcher if I wait as long as you... the law changes when you're female."

"As true as that unfortunately may be, you'll have to stop looking to find. Besides, you do have a talent." He manoeuvred to enclose his arm around Laura, pulling her into a bracing hug. "You can gyrate like the best of them."

"... thanks." Heavy sarcasm, hints of a smile.

"I try."

Aquamarine eyes shooting wide, Enta clamped a had over his mouth. He froze, not sure wether to tell the other who he was or make a bee line back to his room.

Orion floated above the duo on a metal disc, some sewing in his hands and a couple of his orbs holding more fabric and various sewing notions. "Hm." He smirked down at them, a pin held between his teeth, "It's good that you both have such confidence in yourselves. Pehaps you could teach some of the... More timid tenants how work what they have with gusto~" The Geomancer had not slept, as he had been struck with the idea for a new outfit in the middle of the night. As such, his speech was a bit off.

The petite man gulped and lowered his hand. Clutching at his sleeves, he replied with his nervous stutter. "U-ummm... Y-yeah. It's-it's m-m-me..."

Wide eyes blinking in befuddlement, Enta's ears drooped. "U-um...w-what was that...?"

"O-o-okay..."'he squeaked from the other side of the door, cheeks a dark pink and hands clutching even more forcefully at his sleeves.

Enta took a few steps into the room. "S-sorry?" He asked in a small voice.

Enta shifted his weight from one foot to the other as his tail wrapped itself nervously around one leg. "Uh... I-I guess you d-didn't..." he responded awkwardly eyes trained on the floor, cheeks darkening a tinge in embarrassment.
