I stand and applaud thy courage and resolve, my poetic friend (Yeah, I can use the lingo, but I can't rhyme worth a flip)

On a much sadder note, I went through on a very difficult decision this past weekend. Dacy, my beloved little Westie, and I took our last road trip together. I took her to the vet for the last time. She went peacefully, only wanting me to hold her through it. I buried her with my horse, who died a few years ago, so she would always have a friend near.

She was my friend for many years, and she will always be in my heart. RIP, Dacy. crying

Aww... Poor baby pet. D: At least she died knowing she was loved. Couldn't ask for anything more, right? smile

There are no words to describe how gratifying it is to have your power back. She and I got into a fight again last night - the most pettiest stuff I've ever seen. She's proven herself to be nothing like I thought she was, and nothing but a gold digging sex addict. As well as a horrible person. I'm so glad I'm out of the way of this train wreck of a girl.

And, by the way, when she noticed what she said had no effect on me, she no longer wanted to be my friends. She said I'd come crawling back to her, every time, like a lost little puppy. I responded back, "A lost puppy who knows better food stops does not beg from the one that smacks its muzzle."

Status: 100% done.

Oh, and she and her new guy are apparently getting engaged. So there's that too. -Facepalm.-

Ack! That's terrible! But at least you're out of her claws now. xp

Oh, and I listened to the song...that's SO how I feel about my ex. Even after two.and.a.half.years! emotion_puke

Out of the claws but still in the recovery stage. Moving on should be easy. All I gotta do is make sure not to think about her anymore. XD But womenz, man. They get in your head, no matter how much you don't want to. I'm mad at me right now for going to look and see if she posted any more bull about me (and seeing this new picture and going "God she's cute ._."). Because when she's wasn't talking about how good her boyfriend is to her, or whatever he's buying for her, she was either talking about her sex toys, or how much of a mean spirited person I am.

She's gross, inside and out.

I've stomached the pain she's caused me long enough. I have removed her from Gaia, Facebook, League of Legends, and Skype, and will be ignoring the s**t out of her for the next eternity to come. It'll be hard, for sure. But she's awful for me. She's killing me. I'm not going to let that happen.

And maybe she'll understand one day, when her new boy chooses the military over her, and my friend Cody already told me he basically did, she lost someone truly special, someone who would do anything for her regardless of his own safety.

It's done. Next order of business, ladies?

That might have been a wise move. I'm sorry to hear it's turning out like this, but hopefully she'll learn from her mistakes through all of this. sad

I'm glad you got out of that situation in that case! She definitely doesn't sound like she's ready to be in a healthy relationship. However, keep in mind that even if you think you're over a person, you still might find yourself remembering them fondly for a moment because of something random, only to be mad at yourself later. sweatdrop

(This is the same person you were talking about in both quotes, right?)

Yes, it is, Chibi. And yeah, I know how that is already. xd But today I realized - it's not her that I'm not over now. It's the memories. I allow my mind to wander off and I remember how happy I was pre-New Years Weekend, and I hate it. And even still, I start getting angry when something makes me think about her, because the memory of the pain of deceit and lies comes back, since it's such a recent injury. I have her out of my head, but I still need to learn to deal with my memories.
PostPosted: Sun Jan 29, 2012 9:53 pm
Ack! Definitely been there. Every day it seems like I face a million little reminders of how great Stinky was in his pre-jerk days. Then I force myself to remember what an obnoxious, pompous know-it-all he became, and that makes it both easier and harder to deal with the memories. I hope you make new memories around the things that still remind you of her, and that these new memories are good and take the sting out of being in all the familiar places that remind you of her.

In the slightly altered words of the famous Yoda, "When 121 years you reach, look as good you will not."

My little baby was 17 years old. She was partly blind, partly deaf, was suffering heart attacks, and her organs were shutting down. It was past time to let her go.

I see, but I is still heartbreaking. It makes me think of our dog, Petey. He was the sweetest dog (and he got along with my cat Missy), but he got brain cancer. Near the end, he was so pitiful that it made you cry. Mom ended up taking him to the vet to be put down, and it was so incredibly heartbreaking for all of us. There was this void, and in their rush to fill it, we ended up with Freckles, the worst dog ever. xp

@Diablos - Don't give up on the things and places you both enjoyed. That will just hurt worse in the end. Do the things you enjoy, and just make new connections and associations with those things to make new, happy memories. Things will heal in time, but if you avoid things because the memories make you hurt now, they'll make you miserable for much much longer. I can tell you this from experience. There are many things I love that I would have lost if I had gotten hung up on that, so just don't let it happen to you!

@Alvinette/Chibi especially - ^_^ Thanks ladies. I'm not entirely hung up on them. Her name doesn't even make me rage anymore. I'm able to let go BECAUSE of the way she's been acting. Knowing that she is, indeed, the type of person I've been told she was. The only thing that the memories do now is briefly leave a foul taste in my mouth whenever I hear/do those things. Nothing more.

I won't have to hear about her again until March, when she moves out to New Orleans and her friend sits her down to b***h her out over how much of a child she is. It doesn't hurt anymore. <3

@Moriko - Shutting down organs... Aww. Poor baby girl. sad I'm glad she's in a better place now. Gettin' her ear scratched by the dog babysitter in the afterlife. :3 By the way, at what age are you exactly returned to in spirit form, do you think?

@Chibi - Worst dog ever? xD Do I want to know?

Yeah.... He pees all over everything, so the whole house smells like urine. He barks whenever anyone moves, and he barks even more when there are guests. (He doesn't stop, btw.) He howls in the middle of the night over and over, waking everyone up. He eats things he shouldn't. He terrorizes my cat. And, occasionally he'll bite you. Worst.... dog.... over.... He makes Marley seem lovable.
