Howard chuckled to himself as he remembered the man outside who had enjoyed his chicken alfredo so well last time. He'd enjoy this for sure. Burgers sizzled and bacon was lit up as Howard's hands flew over the various ingredients like an experienced dealer in a card game.
"Yeah, that wouldn't be a half-terrible idea."
He ruffled Enta's hair and got up.
"I think I'll go on downstairs and see if she's there. You stay here for a while, and ome back down after a few minutes. Wouldn't want Felix to get any wrong ideas..."
He planted one last kiss on Enta's forehead and walked down the steps waving to everyone.
"Hey, all."

Entering the inn with his briefcase, MacPere gave a yawn. Business gathering, night (more so early morning ) with his husband, early departure to work... and today wasn't going to be much easier.
"Call contacts, confirm deliveries, call Fairuz..."

Gren was off at the Carlton, playing better than he had in a month.

After adding some finishing touches, Howard strode in with a perfect pyramid of burgers, setting it down on the counter.
"Bacon 'n cheddar cheeseburgers, come and get 'em~ And grab off the top first, don't be an idiot..."
Albee took up the first burger from the top, munching on it.
"Mm... back then, you usually didn't make these with bacon."
"I know, what a shame back then, huh?"

Giving a wave to MacPere as he settled at a table, Laura strode into the room, dressed in a short, sparkling dress. "Ooh, burgers? Wow... we're kinda spoiled, hm?" She took one from the top of the pyramid stack, tucking in with a happy murmur.

Enta nodded to Enra as he left, stowing Ponzu back in his pillow fortress and waiting patiently for a few minutes.
"Food!" Setting Charlotte down, Felix sprung from the couch, snatching a burger and tearing off a large chunk.

Howard noticed the shy woman from before, throwing a grin her way.
"A woman who appreciates meat? Not bad, my dear, not bad."
Enra took a burger as well, noticing after a few moments that Felix was either to caught up in the food to notice or simply didn't smell any scent on him.

Wiping the sauce from her lips, Laura shrugged, unable to help a smile. "Well, what can I say? If it tastes good, I eat it. I've got a fast metabolism, so it's alright~"

Felix's nostrils were filled with the scent of barbecue sauce and bacon. The tantalizing scent left him oblivious to everything else.
Enta strode down the satirs carefully, have sprayed on a little light cologn before Comming down to help cover Enra's scent on him. He wandered over to the counter and took a burger. Taking a small bite, his eyes lit up. "These are really good, Howard!"

Max had hardly slept the night before. While Remy was extremely comforting, there were some things that just lingered with you for a while. It had taken her a day or two to push aside Lee's death, and that wasn't particularly disturbing so much as sad and surreal. She came downstairs, her outfit as colorful as ever but lacking the spirit of her enthusiasm. Beneath the shock and fright was a smoldering anger and a desire to set things right...but how?

"Hey Max..." Laura said softly from her perch on a stool, chomping away at her 4th burger. Even through the short amount of time she'd been at the inn, she could tell that the colourful girl wasn't feeling too hot.
