I was introduced at the end of 2005 when my dad said, "Oh, hey, your mum loved this show when she was little, come see the finale!" I thought, oh hey, this is nice. Upon seeing the Christmas Invasion I made up my mind that I HAD to see the rest, and by the end of that season I was looking on the BBC website and through the old novellas for anything to fuel geekdom.
A geekdom which eventually inspired me to start creating rubbish like this.
(Personally, and with apologies to those who disagree, I really dislike Ten. It's always "Gallifrey this, Rose that, wah wah wah!" as if he had had this on his chest for millenia and was venting for the very first time. He's very nice to look at, granted, but he does things which make Baker II's Doctor look like a pleasant and emotionally stable fellow.)

My friend told me about Doctor Who.. well she actually just told me she was in love with someone called "the Doctor" and I was like, " confused Who?" And she was like, "Yeah, that's the one!" And that just made me more confused, so I looked "Doctor Who" up on Google images and found like ten (XD) different guys under that, so I looked it up on youtube and became introduced to it. I put on the first episode of the 2005 series and was like, "o0 wth? This isn't that hot dude in the brown!" so my friend told me to just wait and watch. I loved the first episodes in the first series SO much, I just watched it for the awesome storylines and not for the "hot dude in the brown" that I was waiting for. Then, "the Parting of the Ways" happened and I was like, "OH THAT'S HIM!!! MAN, he's hot!!!!" So then I got the next two series' on DVD and noticed his undying energy and got just a bit annoyed, but not too much.. now I'm watching the older stuff as well as the new, to get myself caught up. Sheesh.. I must get this gob from watching 10 too much, this is sick XD

Well, the reasons I like DW is because 1) The actors are fantastic. I read all the episodes, but only saw a few of them (a couple of 4, 1 of 5, all of 9, and most of 10). Tom Baker did it with such thrill. He even added what HE wanted. Peter Davidson used himself in this. He didn't change, he just changed the words. Christopher Eccleston was able to add anger to every line (even when he was supposed to be happy). That's pretty hard to do. David showed me how to be a kid again. At least he made me smile more often. 2) What they do. The show isn't about REALITY stressed ! It's about traveling through time and space. HOW COOL IS THAT!? 3) Where they perform. I know most of it's in England. But, they show the different parts of it. I'm so glad they added Dubai. They even went to a place nearby where I used to live. SAN FRANSISCO! xd 4) It's never the same thing. Yes, they have a little theme to it. But, it's not just the past. It's the past, present, future, and what comes of it. 5) Why they do it. TO HAVE FUN!!!!!!!! :3
