Nya heard Luke and dropped down from the tree. "Humans? They've found this place?" She sighed and looked down sadly. "Does this mean we have to fight?"

"That or run," Luke replied. "Unless I can hypnotize him and make him forget about this place... but... that doesn't always work..."

try and see if it will work...you Nya...can you try your charm on him if not i will distract him and we will run.

look, i have my reasons why i need this bounty, but please hear me out.

just follow me to the jail, let me collect the bounty and i SWEAR i will break you out and help you avoid hunters like me

Nya looked at Ryoshi with a scared look on her face and her eyes seemed to sparkel a little as tears came out of them. "You aren't just saying that to trick us so you can have us killed, are you?"

"And why should we trust you?" Luke asked, not at all ready to give himself over. "What proof do we have that you won't betray us?"

(ryoshi takes off his necklace and throws it at luke, revealing a white tail)
cause i'm one of you, keep the necklace too so i have a motivation besides a promise

Luke lifted up the necklace, looking at it. "Hmm... That explains why I didn't smell a human approaching..." he commented, still not sure he could trust this guy. There had been plenty of demons who thought they could preserve their own lives by assiting the humans, although he knew they would just be killed if the humans achieved their goal...

"What do you need the money for?" Luke asked, eyeing the necklace. He would trust a wolf before demon, these days, and he did smell very much like a wolf...
