I think manga.
I like to have music while i am reading, and with anime it is annoying to have music ._.

Hmm, it depends, really.
Some anime's are better then manga's, and vise versa.

For example, I prefer to WATCH Soul Eater then to read it.
That is because the very first chapter, there was SO much fan service, it became extremely annoying. Once I saw how vivid the colors were in the anime, it sparked my attention because of the art style and the coloring/shading.

But some anime's are horrible compared to the manga. Such as Loveless. I prefer the manga much more, because they cut the anime short. & It is much more interesting.

I am pretty nuetral about them both. I guess it really just depends.

While I really don't give-a-darn about which is better -- usually because the anime is just an alternate telling of the manga -- and because people tend to become biased by what they first found, the anime or manga (I know I tend to, but I'm trying to stop that) -- I actually LIKE fillers, especially when they add in extra information to the story to tie up/in some concepts they introduced earlier on.

For example, Naruto. Now don't start ranting on me about how it became nothing but filler later on. Look at the Seven Swordsman of the Hidden Mist. Sure, Zabuza and Kisame were part of the story, but Raiga was in a filler arc (for those of you who don't know, Curry of Life).

Now, as I am an avid completist, this means something to me. I like a full resolution to any topic introduced, no matter how small. Lately, with every anime or manga series I finish I notice things they left out or forgot to finish from earlier on.
In fact, I have yet to see or read anything that does completely finish a concept. It usually gets dropped or forgotten after a little while.

I'm done now...sorry if it was too long.

Meh....I prefer Manga over much anime out there. Now of course, some anime adaptations are somewhat okay, but generally, the manga tends to tell a better/longer story. However, there are exceptions with stuff like Vandread...where I Prefer the anime over the manga, even though it was entirely different.

Then there's something like Gantz...where the manga is continuing on strong! Yet...the anime caught up many a year ago, and had to be given a sloppy ending. -shrug-

I guess it just depends on the what's what, to be a good anime/manga.

It really depends on the anime or manga cause sometimes they figure out how to make the anime better then the original ( don't ask me how it confuses me to). But sometime they get off track in the anime so say Naruto as and example had more than 60 filler episodes before it found the plot again. I have to go with manga because most of the time they stay on track and it's easier that I quite hearing people yelling in japanese.

Galaxy Angel! That's what it is. The anime has no plot whatsoever.

In Fullmetal Alchemist, the anime never tells you that Edward wears black because he has to oil his automail arm and leg, and the oil would stain anything else. ha HA!

I do like Negi's voice in Negima...it's so cute!! whee

That would be Greg Ayres. I've memorized the sound of his voice, along with several others; Steve Blum, Johnny Yong Bosch, and Wendee Lee to name a few.

Most anime is based off a manga. Then when they finally make it into a anime it doesn't have as much detail although its less confusing when there are so may characters.

I haven't seen many anime because I don't have directv. I just have channel 28 and 22 but I did go on a youtube craze about two years ago. I saw all the Loveless episodes and I have to say that it ended bad. I'm collecting the manga so I'm hoping it won't end like the anime. sweatdrop Inuyasha was a cool anime and I like collecting the books. The movies were great. mrgreen I've seen a few episodes of Negima and thought it was adorable but I haven't gotten my hands on the manga. Overall, manga is easier for me to get.

Hmmmm~
Well, though I really like both..
I started reading manga before watching anime's.
And I like the art in manga. It's just beautiful. And usually has the better storyline.
I watch anime if I don't feel like reading.
So
I suppose I prefer manga. 4laugh

Really, I'm caught in between. I like the manga because you get everything, but I like the anime because it (sometimes) gives me a sexy voice to dream about and some funny moments. Take Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. Neuro, the main character, in the manga has some super funny moments, but doesn't spend much time with the second main, Yako. Whilst in the anime, they has some really funny moments and lots of time to show the connection between Yako and Neuro.

I'm more into manga for a few reasons, I don't have Anime Network T-T is one of them.
And I'm too lazy to download anime eps online.
But when it comes to certain types of animes sometimes the manga just can't compare to the anime.
Soo, I'd have to say it's equal between the two.

Rave Master is a pretty good manga, but they absolutely BUTCHERED the anime, They changed so much stuff and made it so ridiculous I couldn't stand to finish a single episode.

Overall, it varies between series for me, Sometimes I prefer anime, sometimes manga, and sometimes both.
