*roku waved his hand at kai*
"i will retire for a minute, if you would excuse me"

*roku walked back to his seat picking up his sake and continued to watch the fire as he drank.*

"Ahh yes. I suffered some major damnge from one of his mistakes. THe damned thing took out over six people and left me in my animalistic state." Akio sniffed the air then was at teh main door. "Exceuse me Kai, my late night snack is here. Benjamin, how are you!" Her eyes turned a human-like blue as she opend the door and ushered in a tall man. The man seemed to itch with the desire to touch AKio, but akio played hard to get and pulled him into a different room. AS they dissapered, Akio's eyes turned a deep red and her fangs extented from around her lips.

Kai just rolls his eyes as Akio and Benjamin got to the other room and he joins Roku by the fire.
"Who was your teacher Roku? If you don't mind me asking."
Kai takes a bigger swig of his drink.

"my teacher was pain, and my master was suffering. if you are refuring to the one who taught me to controle my powers, it was my older sister. she, though not related by blood to me, taught me how to controle this curse placed upon me for the greater good."

*he said as he looked into the fire and drank some sake*

"how about you?"

"I was born this way..my powers have matured at an easy rate for the most part. But being raised in hell really helps one learn to control one's powers really fast."
Kai gulps down the rest of his drink quickly.

*roku looked over at akiochan*

"how delightful"

*roku got up with a grin on his face and made his way to a shelf full of books. picking one up he placed his hand on his forehead*

"vampires..... you are so interesting"

*roku looked nervously at the book being careful not to let the others notice his shivering body. his eyes sparked a dark red flash for a quick second as he continued to pretend to read the book he took from the shelf.*

"I'm no vampire Roku, and pease don't be so nervous. I can sense you shaking, I'm not going to hurt you. Alchemists are too rare and precious a thing to harm."
Kai keeps his attention on his nearly empty glass.

AKio was behind ROKu instantly, her fingers gently touching his shoulder. "Roku, what is it that makes you shiver so? Is there anything that I can get you to help?"  

[Marie_Myself_and_I]

Marie entered the room and scanned the crowd with her deep brown eyes. Her velvet black dress flowed outward slightly from her waist and downward to brush the floor as her tight bodice sparkled in the firelight. Her rich reddish brown ringlets brushed her shoulders as Marie looked about the room. Marie wondered where her escort, Peter, had gone to.

Akio heard the motion and appeared before the other girl in an instant. Her black hair fluttered slightly around her head before coming to rest on her pale shoulders. Her purple eyes were bright and soft, for the momment. "AH, another guest. WElcome to my home!"  

[Marie_Myself_and_I]

Marie turned to Akio. "Thank you, and what a lovely home it is." She said with calm smile. "I am Marie Anya Stravinskova." She introduced herself wtih an outstretched hand and in her unique British/Russian accent.

AKio took the hand and shook it firmly. "Its a please to meet you MArie, I am Akio, please do come in and enjoy a drink."
