Terron stretched as he smiled at Static. "Teleporter... so that's how he did it. Heh, clever little brat. Oh well. Atleast I got twenty grand out of it. Next time, maybe he won't be so cocky." He just stood there for a moment listening the the wonderful sound of victory streaming from the dome. With one one last winning smile he asked, "Should I let him out?"

"I don't need a partner!" Brent yelled at the Commissioner. Normally the Sergeant would be the one handling placement, but brent was a special case. "I have recieved multiple reports of you opening fire on Superheroes! People in which we already have a 'shaky' contract with. You're lucky we aren't taking your badge away! Now go pick up your partner. And brent... if I hear a single word of you shooting up supers without authorization, mark my word I will have your badge burned." Brent stormed out of the office and made his way down to the front room of the police building. When he arrived the busy room seemed to silence itself. "What are you looking at? Get back to work." The room filled with noise once again. Brent sat in a nearby chair and waited for his new partner.

Commander Joffier was having a bad day. First a shadow from the shadow project escaped. Than, his first super that he found suddenly dissappeared after he had spent hours trying to convince the boy's parents to let him take the teleporter. Now he had drove all the way to Vancouver only to be stopped by a police officer saying that he couldn't drive his supertank through town. This was not going to be accepted. How was he going to deal with a super if it went ballistic when he found one? Joffier borrowed one of the town cars avaiable to go down to the police station to clear things up. Just as he walked in, an officer was yelling at everyone to get back to work. Joffier, sensing an oppurtunity, strode up to the disgruntled officer and said, his voice filled with concern, "My dear officer, what seems to be the matter? Is there something I can help you with? Or maybe this is some internal affair that I have no right to interfere in?"

"Yea, I would. Though something is weird... if he's a teleporter, how come he can't get himself out?" Static asked, though his tone made it clear that he seemed to know the answer. He was testing his intern, seeing if Terron was still as sharp.

Nightwing made his way down closer to the ground, staying a couple of stories up so he could hear what was going on. He made slightly less noise than a crouched panther as he moved, so it was doubtful those below would spot him.

Lilith sighed as she parked her civilian car into her parking space and slowly reached to turn off the ignition and take the key. She would be getting her new partner today and it wasn't something she was looking forward to. She knew who it was going to be, and it terrified her that, that man was going to be her partner. Just because no one knew she was a super, did not mean she didn't feel afraid everytime some crazy guy went about trying to kill them all. And this one was a police officer.
Lilith shook her head, she would have to deal with it. She had no plausible and worthy excuses to not have this man as her partner, unless she were to reveal herself. That was out of the question. 'Oh well' She said to herself as she finally opened her car door and stepped out of the vehicle and slammed the door closed behind her. 'So long as I can hide my powers from him, everything will be fine.' She told herself as she pressed a button on her keychain and the car beeped behind her while she walked into the building.
She opened the door just in time to hear her new partner yell at everyone to get back to work. Another sigh escaped her, though it was unheard through the noise. She had been just about to go over to him and introduce herself, but a man had gone over and started speaking to him. So, she decided to first go and get ready for the day. She could officially meet him after she got into her uniform.

Terron was about to release the snot nose kid, but stopped when Static made a good point. He pondered for only a minute before replying. "Well... obviously it's based on how his teleportation works. If it was like Nightcrawlers he could get out.... he must be changing into something to move at instantanious speed. Sorta like in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, when he split the chocolate bar into millions of pieces to make it 'teleport' across the room, just faster and more efficient." Terron smiled, only hoping he was right. He suddenly realized that he had not let the boy out. Although he was enjoying the moment, he reached his hand up, then whipped it downward, causing the dome to unfold, revealing the kid.

Brent kind of stared at the man in front of him. "It's personal." Brent wouldn't say another word. He was mad as it was. He didn't need some stuck up... well military from what he could tell... guy trying to talk to him. Brent just wanted some time to himself before he started getting trailed around like a kindergardener.

After the dome went down, Geraldo slowly walked up to Terron and pulled out a pen and a check, "Who should i make this out to? If I put urchin, they might not know which person to give the money to, you or this kid. Now, if you all don't mind I have something very important to tell some people here in Vancouver known as supers. Seeing as how this peasant can do something like that, I'm assuming you can too. There is a man from the French military looking for people as talented as I am. I assume he is going to settle for you all since I dissappeared before he could catch me."

"Ah, so sad to see that someone has gotten you into such a bad mood. I wonder, Is this person that has gotten so under your skin a higher ranking officer or a lower one?" Commander Joffier made it apparent that he was intent on listening by sitting next to one of Vancouver's finest.

"Higher." Brent whispered before catching himself. "You know what? Like I said before, it's personal. If you don't leave me alone I swear I'll get every officer in this room toescort you out. Do you understand me?" Brent got up and walked over to a less 'crowded' space.

Seeing his helpful tone not helping any, he strode over to a desk, found how to get to the commissioner and attempted to get some sort of special permit to use his tank in city limits. Unfortunately it seemed ironclad on this level that there would be no tanks in the city. Commander Joffier thanked the commisioner for his time, headed out of town to his temporary hq, and made a few phone calls. After the third person, he finally secured the documents he needed in order to use any force in Vancouver that was needed in order to quell a rebellion going on by super powered people. With the proper documents in hand, he saddled up his personal tank and two others to drive through town, looking for his first super to enlist.

Sal walked happily down the street after he had gotten another burger. He noticed four men standing near by. Three of them seemed to be bullying the other one. Sal walked up as they pushed the man into an alley. "Is there a problem here?" He asked. "Piss off, this isn't any of your business." One of the thugs yelled at Sal. Sal finished eatting his burger, "Well now you've gone and made me mad." Sal approached one of the men. The thug pulled out a knife and lunged at Sal. Sal grabbed the thugs arm and threw him against a wall easily. Sal cracked his knuckles as the other two pulled out their weapons, one had a lead pipe the other a chain. The thugs charged Sal, one swung his pipe at Sal's side, the other tried to wrap his chain around Sal's leg. Sal grabbed the pipe and threw the man over him with one arm. As the chain wrapped around his leg Sal lifted his leg and slammed the thug against the wall. The three thugs scrambled away in fear.

Sal walked up to the man who was getting attacked. "You alright?" He said as he offered a hand to help him up. "Yeah thanks. How did you do that?" He took Sal's hand, "Well I guess I'm just a really good fighter." He smiled as he pulled the man up. "Now you should get out of here." The man shook Sal's hand and ran off. Sal yawned and went back to walking.

While driving his tanks through town, Commander Joffier saw four men go into an alleyway, shortly followed by one more. He heard some battle cries, than some screams. Three men fled the alley, followed by another running the other direction. Finally, the last one to go in was the last one to go out, the only one who left walking. "You there!" Commander Joffier yelled as he climbed out of the tank to see the man with his own eyes. "You there! I want to speak with you!"

Rorschach walked out into the night and pointed towards the sky and shot his little rappelling gun and hoisted himself to the top of his building. when he got to the top he attached another hook and put the little gun in his pocket, looking around he thought about the comment Comedian made
"sense of humor, ugh ive got a sense of humor!"
pulling out his pocket watch he starts towards the bank when the alarms started going off, he put his watch in his pocket and ran off the edge of the building landing on the bank sliding down the flag pole landing in front of the door
"welcome to the show my friends!"
the thugs spun around and pointed their guns at Rorschach and stared as The Comedian fell beside him holding a shotgun
"nice to see you Rorschach"
"glad you could make it Comedian, lets show these punks a good time!"
Rorschach ran at a thug and punched him in the face and took his gun spinning and shooting at another. Comedian shot and droped two of them then it was on the thugs opened fire shooting and missing them. Rorschach shot another thug and droped the gun kicking at the thug running for the door. Comedian shot another thug and jammed his gun
"damnit!"
~thwack!~ Comedian fell and a thug stood behind him holding a lead pipe Rorschach looked over and saw Comedian fall and threw the gun at him and it fired and took another in the arm
"get out!" the thugs ran for the door and were cut off by the cops who had finaly arrived.

Rorschach awoke with a start and sat bolt upright coverd in a cold sweat breathing hard and stared at his clock
"midnight! this is getting rediculious!"

After having changed into her uniform, Lilith tied her hair behind her head as she put on her hat and left the changeroom. Next thing she did was head over to get her 'utility belt', containing her sidearm, baton, taser, peperspray and other such things she would need during the day. Making sure everything was there and locked perfectly in place, Lilith headed back out to find her new partner, hoping he was done with his conversation with the civilian.
Apparently he was, as the man was gone and her partner was now sitting elsewhere. She paused for a moment, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly before she headed over with a smile on her face. "Hello." He said as she held her hand out to Brent. "I'm your new partner. Lilith." She said as she awaited his taking her hand. Lilith found herself not wanting him to touch her at all, as if he were to even touch her he would know she was a super. She almost laughed out loud at such a silly though.

"Okay, couple of things bro. One: quit calling everyone 'urchin' and 'peasant'. Just because you have money doesn't mean you can be a douche." Static said, looking rather cross. He definitely didn't like people acting better than others.

"Two: good answer Terron." he added, turning to his intern and smiling. He was still put off by this new guy, but was trying to focus on his intern.

"Off-putting language aside, I think we all better go inside. You included." Nightwing said after he landed on the ground and looked at Geraldo. "Military and supers rarely works well. We will need you to tell us what you know." he added. They needed this kid's information, and fast. Fighting villains was one thing, but a foreign army was quite another.

Heck, military involvement worked for the cap, but Nightwing was not a fan. Not to say he was as anti-organization as Bruce, he just didn't trust the military of most countries.

"I'm Nightwing by the way." he finished, introducing himself.
