Okay, we have one contestant so far... who would like to mentor her? She said next Sunday at 10, I don't know what time zone yet.

I'm also assuming, from the date this was posted, you mean the 5th? In which case I actually have that day off from work so I'd be more than game providing I don't get called in at the last minute.

Or I just looked in the tread and saw all the details there, I'd be more than happy to take her on :'D! So long as I don't get called into work at the last minute, lol.

Okay, so when she is done, and has done all the VG quests and been told to go to Bills, post in the event thread, in GCP. Then I'll send outr her prize.

Yea, something came up saturday night and then my grandfather was in the hospital again and it just turned into this crazy sunday u_u;;; He's home now, but I'm not going to have time this week to get on zOMG.

Well, this seems to be a fail contest. Are the prizes not tempting enough? Should I have just sold everything and offered large amounts of gold?

well, I just helped Ifni complete the VG quests, a week or two later than we'd scheduled, but done none the less rofl

And someone else just said they wanted to sign up to be a mentor, but there aren't very many people biting to learn.

No, I haven't given up yet, but I've been a bit lax about checking the guild lately rolleyes given the lack of activity.

It was pretty easy-breezy, she was really curios about everything, willing to listen to me chatter about the game mechanics, asked a lot of honestly smart questions, etc etc. Apparently a lot of her friends had started playing and they said it was a good time and a good way to make gold so she figured she'd give it a try and she said she had a lot of fun. I offered to play with her again sometime if we happened to be online at the same time too since she says she doesn't always have time to play.

All in all, it was a good time both ways :3

Excellent! I'll sign in as z_spot tomorrow and send her prize, and your 10k. I was going to wait til the end, but if it's going to be so slow, I'll just send it as you get it.

Now if some more people would just sign up as contestants... I relly thought the good prizes would bring them in! Oh, and how long did it take?
