[Awoken Queen]

Ace looked to the girl now cowering behind a tree.
"Ah, so your a shifter too? How interesting..? She stepped away from the water and sniffed at the tree line before looking back to the girl.
"Another wolf is around here."

"Oh yeah that's right," said Leona aloud as she tilted her head, "I remember smelling two wolves before." Leona looked in the same direction Ace was looking before. She wondered why two wolves would suddenly appear in town without her bumping into them before. Where did they come from? She wanted answers but she knew she wouldn't get them for now. Yet Leona felt a strange sense of comfort with Ace "Wanna go check it out together?" Leona asked as she smiled, "I am a bit scared to go on my own..."

Ace nodded to Leona, waiting for her to shift back before walking up the bank and into the brush with her. What they found at the top, through the brush was an old shipping yard, years worn fron abandonment. Shipping containers everywhere, the perfect place to hide.
Aces ears twiched as she sniffed the air, he was close, he was hiding.
"Come on out" She called

Rune began panicking as he heard a voice attempting to call him out. He should have known he would be sniffed out sooner then later, they weren't weak nosed human's after all. His mind then shifted to his second plan to run for it, but his body wouldn't move. Rune tried hard to concentrate by focusing on the direction of a heavily populated human street he could probably lose them on.
His thoughts raced, as it was either run now while there was still some distance between them, or risk them finding him.
At this, Rune convinced himself and bolted for it as fast as he could, jumping off the container he was on. Unfortunately, in his panicked state he forgot how high he was until he was in the air, landing on the ground hard and twisting an ankle. With a yelp he tumbled a few times, but still got up and continued limping away slowly.

"Hey wait!" Leona called to the male wolf, but cautiously stayed by Ace's side. "Please don't go!" Leona changed to her wolf form and wagged her tail to show she wasn't dangerous. It was hard for her to keep it up though due to the intense stench. She wasn't used to this. Leona looked around and wondered if this was the male's home. She considered him crazy for still trying to walk with an injury, but its probably something she would have done if there was danger.

Ace walked to the limping male, guarded still and ready for anything to happen.
"You won't get very far wounded like that." she spoke as she neared him but gave space, a wounded cornered animal was always the most dangerous.

Rune thought Ace's words were a threat and scampered as fast as he could behind the nearest container, throwing his back against it and putting his arms up over his head defensively. Rune was in his human form now, as it was easier to shield his face this way.
He was shaking as he braced himself for the impending attack, as that was what he was use too from all his encounters with stray dogs and even humans.

Leona watched as the male cowered in fear. She felt sorry for him. She knew what it was to be in fear. She slowly walked over to the poor wolf. "Ummm....excuse me, you don't need to worry," she said gently, "We didn't mean to scare you" Leona looked at Ace. "Maybe we should let him calm down a bit, give him some space and time to rest. We could take care of him like a pup!" Leona got more excited by the second.

Ace watched Leona jump around like a pup before she moved towards the male. Shifting has she did so, Ace was a few inches shorter than than the male, with distinct long white hair and eyes to match. An over sized grey and white sweatshirt hanging on her.
"Come on, were gonna have to get you back to which ever one of these you live in and put your foot up. She spoke, Ace wasn't trying to sound cold though she did come off blunt and scary most of the time, she wasn't good at socializing..

Rune stared in amazement at Ace and Leona from under his arms, as he realized they were both like him. What were the odds of that? It did, however, bring some comfort to him, as he had stopped shaking.
He relaxed and lowered his arms as little, still staring.

Leona changed back to her human form to join the others. She was happy that Ace said they could take care of the male. Leona then looked at Ace and Rune and thought in the back of her mind for a split second that this could be something more. But no. She doesn't even know these wolves. Inside her heart dropped. On the outside she showed her normal self. Leona looked at Rune and said, "So mystery wolf, can you walk on your own?"

Ace looked to Rune wating for his anwser, she knew more or less they'd have to look at his ankle, swelling would mean it could be broken, they'd have to get something cold on it.

Rune got up, putting as little weight as possible on his bad foot.
"I'm fine, I can take care of myself." He said nervously, keeping his head down, as he limped towards his home. He kept a few medical supplies back there that would come in handy.
He had been on his own for so long, he wasn't use to this kind of attention. Always invisible, no one ever gave him a second look. He just blended in everywhere.
"And it's Rune." He said, clearing up that his name was not 'mystery wolf'.

Leona looked at Rune and giggled, "Isn't rune the name of a jewel?" Then she suddenly remembered she didn't know the other female's name. "Excuse me ma'm, I never got your name," she said looking happily at the girl with beautiful white hair. "My name is Leona." she said as she followed Ace and Rune to his home.

Ace tucked her hands into the pockets of her jacket and looked to Leona.
"Names Ace."
She followed Rune and Leona to the small storage container that Rune had made into his home.
