[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris's piercing purple eyes glanced at her sideways.

"You lied to me, and so what encouragement do I have to tell you the truth?" She knew her words were cold. But she felt like Karen needed to hear them in order to grow.

Normally she wouldn't have wasted time trying to help someone grow, but for the the first time in fifty years, she had found someone she seriously wanted to be friends with. To make it better, she was starting to doubt Karen would run from her upon finding out her secret.  

[Semu Namu]

Sena felt alot better, and was not too bumped up from her fall. She wanted to thank Aeris for helping her up, but instead she burst out; "Who are you to say who should and shouldn't lie? Its Karen's business anyway, and you're not the most open person she's probaly ever met either. Don't talk about being alive like its some curse, either, we're all lucky to be here right now." She stopped, realising she just said all of that. Sena blushed, and stuttered "...thankyou for helping me up, though."  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris was angry at Sena's outburst, but as was her custom when upset, she hid it away.

"No, I'm not open. So I know better than anyone that it's the wrong road to take. And it's my business what value I place on my own life."

But Sena's ending comment made her pause. "You're welcome."  

[Semu Namu]

"So why would anyone else have to be open to you? Do you think you're different somehow? Like you know something special?" Sena thought Aeris was being rediculous, and her attitude needed a bit of fixing.  

[Michiru Tendo]

Karen looked down at the ground, a little embarrassed by the truth in Aeris's words. But still... "But death is a lot more serious than that! So... won't you tell me what you meant?" she questioned Aeris, looking up into her eyes again. She blushed a little hearing Sena yell out at Aeris. She felt like saying something back to the blonde, but decided to remain silent instead. She was addressing Aeris, not her.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

"I cheated death." Aeris said simply. "It may catch up to me."

To Sena, she smirked knowingly. "Yes, I do think all of that." That should shut her up for now.  

[Michiru Tendo]

She stared at Aeris for a moment before asking her, "Cheated death? What's that supposed to mean?"  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

"Oh, I'm sure you can figure it out if you really thought about it." Aeris smiled dazzlingly at Karen and continued walking, appearing unfazed.  

[Semu Namu]

"Like I said, you think you're special. Death catches up to everyone, we all know that. I should have died when I was sick, I certainly wanted to die. Everyone has problems that change the way they want to live thier lives, but if you are left alive, you have to make the most of it instead of furthering your own misery. You severly underestimate everyone with your elitist mindset." Sena said this in a most calm manner. Arcanine moved closer to Sena, he didn't want anything bad to happen to her.  

[Michiru Tendo]

"Cheated death... cheated death..." Karen stared down at the ground as said the words slowly, thinking about each word's meaning. "Could it be... that you were supposed to die? But if you were supposed to die and didn't, then I guess that's a good thing. But then what do you mean you're going to die soon? Is something threatening your life?" Karen looked up into Aeris's eyes as she asked that last question.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

"Every day." She said, smiling at Karen.

Aeris glanced at Arcanine. "I'm not going to bite. I don't want to hurt anybody." Turning to Sena, she stared at her for a moment. "Well, you're probably right. But I have a special circumstance, and I have to realize what you're saying for myself."  

[Michiru Tendo]

Karen's eyes widened a bit. She tugged on Aeris's sleeve as she asked in a worried tone, "What is it? What's bringing you so close to death?"  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris hesitated, unsure how to continue.

"I have a...condition. That's all. If I get too tired, I may die." Well, that was true enough. And Karen had the example of last night to back that up.  

[Michiru Tendo]

Karen stared at Aeris with a look of concern. "I've never heard of that kind of condition. Is there anything you can do to cure it? Or at least help it not be so life threatening?"  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

"Yes, but I don't know how yet. I don't want to talk about it anymore." It was a shut down, but if they talked anymore Aeris may just end up telling her everything, and that wouldn't be good.
