[RP] The Inn of Peace - IoP (Open to all)

"A few minutes, actually. But don't worry about it, I'm just good at that." Gren said, beaming.  

[DragonsHeart_1111]

-grabbing MacPere's usual mug and set it down on the counter- "How do you like your tea? I dont usualy watch you make it.' -he said winking at MacPere-  

[Angeles Valentine]

Angeles looked over at MacPere and smiled a bit, "very observant of you MacPere. No, he is not. He died about five hundred years ago. I was missing him last night watching you and Gren cuddle, I just need to wait for a bit before I go to deliver them, as it is now impossible for me to do so myself."  

[MacPere]

"Ah, I am not fussy with my tea, Aris, dear. You brew the way you see fit~" MacPere returned the wink with a slight laugh.

He turned back to Angeles and gave a sheepish glance to Gren, bowing his head to the vampiress. "I do apologise. ... You have my empathy upon a lost spouse."  

[Gren_Eckener]

"I'm sorry bout last night, Angeles, I didn't realize it bothered you...I'd offer to deliver the roses for you, but that sort of thing is something you have to do yourself. Still, I'm sorry for your loss..."

Gren sipped his tea again with a small degree of guilt. It wasn't as if he deserved his current happiness.  

[Angeles Valentine]

Angeles smiled, "don't apologize, there's no need to, it doesn't bother me. His soul is at peace now, and i miss him is all. it's a human emotion after all," her smile grew a little at her attempt at a joke, though the humans would probably not understand, "I plan on delivering them myself. it's just a matter that i need help, as I cannot access the grave. Only a human may."

"alright then" -filling up the mugs with water throwin in a lil bit of sugar and milk he placed one in front of MacPere spoon at its side- "Drink up" -he tried to sound somewhat enthusiastic as to not want to bring the energy in the room down at all-

-Aris smiled at her statement of needing a human- "Waiting for Zulma then I take it?" -he said looking down at his tea stirring it slowly-  

[Angeles Valentine]

"Yes," said Angeles smiling at Aris, "I'm waiting for Zulma. She and i need to have a talk about her sense of self preservation anyway," another attempt at a joke, perhaps she was failing. She couldn't tell. She reached into her pocket and took out a blood candy and slipped it into her mouth.  

[MacPere]

"Thank you~" He smiled at Aris and took a sip of the tea, trying his best not to frown. When was the last time he had visited his own wife's grave? A month, perhaps? He swilled the tea with a flash of a grimace. Some widower he was.

-he laughed lightly- "oh? aha, I can only guess what that might mean. Your just full of humor today aren't you?" -He placed his spoon down and took a sip of his tea- "I suppose thats best though. Its good for you to be able to joke."

Gren saw Macpere's guilty scowl, and guessed what it might have meant. Hoping he had it right, he leaned over and murmured into MacPere's ear: "We can visit her too, if you like."  

[Angeles Valentine]

Angeles sucked on the blood candy and smiled at Aris as he caught her joke. She said nothing else afterwards and remained silent with her own thoughts for a while. She hummed at the thoughts that entered her head and she reached into her pocket and took out Xander and set him on the table and looked at him for a moment before poking him awake.  

[MacPere]

MacPere looked to Gren, cracking a small smile at the murmur and whispering back, "I couldn't drag you into something like that..." He sipped at the tea and hummed with a laugh. "... You deserve better than seeing a grown man like me cry~"

"ya'know MacPere, it may not be my place to say, and Gren please step in if im out of line. But showing those sorts of emotions, to anyone...but more importantly to someone close, thats a big step. And judging from what ive seen of you two, im sure Gren would be able to help you through it, tears or not." -he patted MacPere on the shoulder-
