"That is simply adorable!" Kristen exclaimed, patting it on the head gingerly with a couple fingers. "It looks just like him!"
"Your move," Sosol reminded her before focusing on Gren. "Well, I'm sure he'll be back before too long..."
Rather than cursing, it was just a groan this time as he stopped the simulation. There had to be something he hadn't thought of yet...

Albee's aches had generally past away as he noticed Tyler's frustration. He walked over looking at the screen.

"Oh thank god, I though I'd been hallucinating..." he sighed in relief, the mini MacPere trilling in happy regard to the pat. "I'm sure he will, but I feel bad that I didn't send him off..."

"Wonderful, if you exclude the fact that I can't seem to keep from getting some of us killed," he replied sarcastically, gesturing to the almost game-like simulation on the screen. "Speaking of which...check out your profile and tell me if there's anything I should add." He double clicked the blue sprite, displaying the statistics based on Tyler's best estimates.
"I'm sure he understands...both of you are busy these days," Sosol attempted to reassure him, chuckling at the mini-MacPere. "I've seen him around on occasion...it doesn't surprise me that he'd stick around you."
"Checkmate," Kristen said with a gentle smile, moving the final piece in.
"Wait, what? No way...!"

"I hope so...I just hate missing him." he sighed, putting the chibi back onto the counter. "Wait...you seen this guy around? Are there more?"
Remy, meanwhile, had slipped the note beneath Enta's door and was strolling back down the stairs.
Charlotte was asleep in her bed, dreaming of pork chops.

Albee nodded, looking at the screen.
"Hmm... Ah, there's your trouble. Factor in how things will go if I can use my full djinn form. The hangover's not enviable, but I won't end up dead. Here, I think I'll be able to do it from here..."
He touched a blue finger to the screen where the blue sprite was.
"Mejra."
The blue sprite twitched, and pages and pages of information on Albee's full djinn abilities filled the screen. His eyes flew open.
"Yeesh. Hope that doesn't slow down your computer..."

"...whoa...that's, um, certainly an update," Tyler muttered, watching as the computer tried to compile it all, updating the sprite with a new form. "Do you know how long it lasts?"
"Felix has a miniature copy...and I think there's one of you somewhere," Sosol reported, a little distracted as he looked over the chessboard. "How the...?"
Kristen pointed to a few of the pieces with a smile. "Another tomorrow?" She asked, inviting the mini-Pere to look at the holo-chess as well.
Azana walked in the door with a triumphant smile on her face. "Sol! One Rhapsody for the ink-free wife!"
"Like riding a bike, she said," Terry entered with a chuckle. "We'll see what can happen with a real blade tomorrow."

"M-Me?" he asked, mildly uneasy. "Where'd they come from? Are...are they good?"
The chibi hopped onto the chessboard for a better look, looking amused.
Meanwhile the tiny Gren woke up, baffled to find itself in a moving briefcase.

"I think there shold be something in here, I'll see if I can skip to something about it... aha."
Albee had muttered Mejra under his breath as he skipped through the pages to a page that listed drinks that changed his form.
"That's handy. Let's see... drinks for full form include... large amounts of carbonation and/or soda send me out for two hours or so... oh, I can drink wine and stay a full djinn for a day, that could... work..."
At the bottom of the screen was a drink that had the description next to it: permanent change.
"Ramune...? What's that...?"

"I don't know what my real self would do or be capable of. I could end up being someone completely different or... end up not loving Charlotte the same way... No, I think a day-length will be fine for what we have to do."

"Ramune...? You mean that bizarre Japanese soda in the marble bottles?" Sosol asked. "One of the few things we don't regularly stock..."
"Ramune returns you to a full djinn permanently...interesting...but is that really what we want?" Tyler asked, looking over the other, more readily available options, as well as seeing if there were any problems he needed to avoid with his placement.
"I believe they are similar to Charlotte's chibi army," Kristen explained, "except these seem to retain some personality characteristics of the people whom they resemble."

"Well, I know a pair of lovely ladies who would enjoy a glass with you...though which I'd recommend depends on whether you like whites or reds," Tyler chuckled, remembering that Charlotte was still physically too young to get service in here...though Albee seemed to be an odd, and likely special, case. After all, they knew his age...one that easily was older than most of the other patrons combined, even if they threw in Angeles.
"Okay, full djinn Albee, not that you were much of a concern as far as safety...let's try you...here."
"An odd choice...what were they like?" Sosol asked, never having had one himself.
"I find the bottle to be more entertaining than the soda, myself," Terry said, compacting the practice blade. "Technically, Azana, I did hit you..."
"In the morning session...by evening, I was pro!" Azana replied with a laugh, already halfway through her celebratory Rhapsody. "Can't wait to put you to shame tomorrow!"
