Felix came thundering down the stairs, cobalt eyes ablaze with the need to kill. "They took him. Those SICK FREAKS TOOK MY BROTHER!" He slammed a fist through the nearest wall, teetering on the very brink of insanity. "I'm going to get him." He removed his bloodied fist from the drywall, "And when I find them, I'm going to tie their intestines to a barbed post and set them on fire so that they run and disembowl themselves!" He charged out the door, tail bushy with rage and a feral rumble in his chest.

Gren strolled into his apartment, the ruckus far into a different hallway, knowing full well he'd hear about it in a moment, and returned in good time, handing Zulma a box.
"Uahhh!" Chasing after, Charlotte scooped up Fee and threw him out the door after Felix. "Keep tabs for me!"
(Have to be off for a bit...Zulma: the present is a holographic picture frame, the images easily uploadable.)

Azana's eyes went wide, both at the news and Felix's reaction. He bolted out the door, and she instinctively turned in pursuit. "Felix! Get back here!" She shouted out the door after him, turning back toward the room in questioning. This was what they wanted...to drive Felix to return to them, but chasing after him, at a certain point, would pretty much ensure a confrontation, and there was no way she was doing that alone.
Tyler gave a firm shake of his head, typing frantically as he worked to update the scenario to account for, potentially, both Bengali brothers. Right out from under us...why didn't I think they'd stoop this low?!

Ramek got up at the scream of the name Luger that Felix had said. "Tyler? You look like you know what's going on."

Zulma smiled at the eyes of the child. It was cool for him but she knew it would be strange for many. She felt a little nostalgic. As the boy disappeared, she sighed.
Her eyes turned to Gren who had returned.
"She hoped the box." Her eyes clouded. "Gren, this is amazing."
She gasped. "Thank you so much."
She gave him a cheek kiss.
As delicious smelling food arrived, she laughed through her tears.
"Thank you so much Howard. This smells and looks delicious." she took a bit. "This IS delicious..." she commented and ate some more.
Her eyes drifted to the brother shouting and damaging both the wall and his hand. If only she were not pregnant, she could help, but in her state. She felt once again useless and forced another bite in her mouth to quench her sadness.

Albee watched as the man sped out of the Inn, unsure of what to do as his mouth opened in shock.
Howard watched as well, expression similar to Albee's. He was brought back by Zulma's compliment, smiling.
"Much thanks. I'll be here pretty much every day, so I'll be free to cook you whatever you want."

Zulma nodded slowly and took another bite.
"That would be really kind of you."
Once again her eyes drifted towards what was happening in the Inn, people running up and down, in and out.
"I hope I won't have to go fetch my katana..." she sighed.

"Luger's one of the Warden's main white-coats," Tyler explained, anger bubbling beneath his voice. "The one with the will-drain chain that Terry's here to help us with...and he just spirited away Enta, driving Felix into a frenzy. The guy we've been trying to hide is on his way back into hell..."
"My, you weren't kidding about their heartlessness," Terry said as he descended the stairs once more. "Anything to get under their skin...poor guy."
Azana folded her arms, walking back toward Tyler and the others. "We have to work faster...I'm sure they'll try to start breaking Enta, too..."

He sighed tiredly at everyone as they moved.

"I'm guessing that this is what ya meant..." Hunter said, keeping the visor down for good this time. "Now I believe you need help getting back your friend." Hunter stretched his arms and legs to make sure Alpha was operating at maximum condition. "Guess Chase is starting to rub off on me..." Hunter said to himself with a smile.

Zulma looked at the man with a smile half happy, half sad.
"I do not know an Inn with a worst found name than here... I should have called it the Inn of Chaos, that would have been more accurate."
As usual since her pregnancy, she was moody, shifting back and forth between real happiness and depression.
"Do you know anything about those Felix and Lunger, they are mentioning?" she asked the cook as she finished her plate.

"That's what I've been working on!" Tyler answered, exasperation and stress clear in his voice. "I was just starting to hammer out a plan that would lead to no casualties, and that one moment has blown it all to bits!"
But at least I know I was right...they'll do anything to get to you. My caution wasn't slowing us down unnecessarily.
"Are you sure I shouldn't come along as well...?" Terry asked, lifting his compacted blade. "I wouldn't mind giving Luger a bit of his own medicine..."
Azana sighed...all this, and in front of Zulma...gods, it must seem like I'm doing a horrible job around here...

"So did I...Felix gave us a rough layout of the whole place, I had a large team...it seemed like a strategist's dream come true." Tyler pulled off his glasses, rubbing at the bridge of his nose. "The problem is, some of their skill is unknown to me, and for the first time in years I'm having to account for their flaws and psychological hang-ups...as you can see, they have psychological warfare down to an exact science. AND, apparently, psychic assaults, as well."
"Tyler has worked incessantly to gather information and resources, and he is not satisfied until he finds a plan that succeeds with all participants physically and mentally intact," Kristen said, coming to his defense as she emerged from the kitchen with a cup of tea for him. "This scenario is much more difficult than a simple search and destroy mission."
