"She...must have been really something." Gren stuffed his hands into his pockets, then took them back out, not knowing quite what to do with them

Angeles was silent for a moment longer, "it was brave and considerate of you, but I must wonder and fear what has happened to you to make you wish to give up your freedom so willingly. I know your response os that you know and trust me but in all actuality Zulma... I live, for a very long time. Forever, for however long forever lasts, I could change along the way, I could embrace that darkness that i was born into and then what would you do?"  

[MacPere]

"... She was." MacPere fell to silence, bowing his head as they continued to walk, clutching the bouquet with both hands.  

[Ale Posselna]

Ale was amazed, to say the least. This truly was wonderful, everyone should travel like this. It was so fast and the wind was travelling with them... " We're alright, don't worry." she smiled back. "You were right, this way is much faster." she then looked at Thanata, who seemed disoriented. " You heard Aris, don't look down. " she told the dragoness, and pulled her closer to her. "It's just a little longer, your father will be surprised to see you back so soon."

Gren said nothing, as the wind whispered through the dying leaves. Kind of a depressing time of day...kind of chilly, too. He felt a pang of regret for having a lack of comparison, and didn't have much room to give comfort just yet...

It was Zulma's turn to be silent for a while. "We all change..." she started. "But if you were close to changing...to embrace the darkness...then you would not be seeking the peace you find at the Inn...if you were to change...it would not be before a long time...and I would probably be dead by then..."

The young woman looked around, a strange smile on her lips. "Do not think that my offer was taken lightly...when I killed my brother, I swore that if one day I would be in presence of a vampire who was everything my brother never was and that I would have in my power to help this being remain ...human...whatever the cost, I would do it..."

Zulma looked up the sky and took a deep breath. "I loved my brother more than anything...but he was weak, and I refused to see that weakness in him, I should have killed him before he could hurt so many...but I am weak too."
She turned to Angeles "You are strong despite your weaknesses...as for my freedom, I lost it a lot time ago..."

Eventually, the spot was reached, MacPere opening the rusted gate surrounding the remote grave yard with a gentle push and a creak. He waited for Gren to file through before closing it again, stepping past the other elaborate stones and statues to reach one nearer to the back.

He stops before a stone with a long slab beneath it, a gentle smile finding his lips. He always did find it hard to look at much less stay by... But he could manage.

"Hey..." He cooed to the headstone, glancing at the angel statue behind. "I... I'm sorry that I haven't visited in a while..."  

[Gren_Eckener]

Gren stayed back, a respectful distance. He'd be introduced in time. Right now, it was a private conversation.  

[Angeles Valentine]

Angeles looked over at Zulma as she spoke and she smiled slightly, "humans, vampires, everyone. People change, it can be a gradual change, or it can be a sudden one, it merely depends on the strength of the push," She then looked at Zulma with wide eyes and she found it difficult to breathe, though she didn't really need to breathe, "who took it away?" she asked quietly. Was it her brother? She would have been freed after his death. Perhaps she didn't know this. Perhaps it was someone or something else that took it.  

[MacPere]

"I can't believe it's been 14 years... I do hope that you forgive me..." MacPere knelt before the stone, running a hand over the engraved names. He swallowed the lump in his throat and continued, looking down to the flowers in his lap.

"I... I brought you some flowers, if you wish to have them... They were cut by a friend. A friend... of whom I brought, you don't mind, do you?" He looked back to Gren, biting his lip and blinking his way through the inevitable tears, wiping at the lone drop trailing its way down his cheek.

Gren blinked and nodded, encouragement towards his compatriot's conversation. Tears in anyone's eyes bothered him. He resisted the urge to run over and console MacPere. Tears were a means of healing too.

He shifted his weight from his right to the left.  

[Zulma san]

"You are right..."
Zulma wondered why for a moment Angeles looked at her with such wide eyes, but she did not inquire about it, nor did she look away.

Angeles's question brought a smirk to Zulma's eyes. "He did...for a while." she started. "Then...I did..." she did not want to elaborate on the subject for the moment, she was toying with too many dark memories to go on without feeling anger or despair.

"You never spoke to me about your husband..." she said gently, a soft smile on her lips.

MacPere looked back to the grave, placing down the bouquet with a shaky sigh. "I... I miss you, Lyn. Everyday, I think of what we could have had together..."

He sputtered slightly, wrapping his arms around his stomach and rocking slightly. "E-Even if our child would have been a teenager... You know h-how they are..."
