Abigail sat behind her daughter on the next barstool over, watching the interaction with intrest.
The young woman sipped her tea, sighing deeply, anger settling into a light simmer. "When I'm not angry, I've been told that I'm pretty easy to get along with..."

Hillary's eyes lit up. "Food? Food ish good. Just about anything is fine with me!" She perked up instantly.
Abigail nodded. "Something warm." Was all she requested.

"Wow, there's more a ya!" Max exclaimed as she bounded downstairs, a bright smile on her face. "Cool!"
Terry yawned, heading downstairs. Busy week, with all the lessons...at least Charlotte seemed to have fun with them. He had heard rumors that the first group was heading out over the weekend, likely to give everyone advance warning and get them there at the same time. I used to love big operations like this...

Gren emerged, two plates of eggs and bacon prepared. "Good morning Max, Terry...while I'm making it, care for some breakfast?" he asked, setting them in front of Hillary and Abigail.

"Totally! You rule, Gren!" Max answered, hopping behind the bar to find some orange juice.
"Sure. Thanks," Terry replied, still shaking off his drowsiness. All these long days of lessons were finally starting to catch up with him, but he didn't mind...he actually enjoyed what he did.

"Ah! Grub! Thanks Gren!" Hillary cheered as she picked up her fork and knife and dug into her breakfast.
"Thank you, Gren." Abigail said softly, taking a bite of her eggs. "Now, dear daughter, you are telling me dat King is making it so dat dese souls cannot rest?"
"Yep." The woman replied, "Pretty much, mum. And it's tuning my pretty graveyard!"

"Sunny side up!" Max answered cheerfully, a little too enthusiastic for the morning. What Hilary said made her frown somewhat, though. "Zombies?"
"Scrambled's fine by me...nothing fancy," Terry assured him, putting on that laid-back smile again now that he was actually waking up.

Gren nodded, giving an odd look to the prospect of the undead rising, and headed back in to whip up some more breakfast.
Meanwhile, the household's resident undead was heading into the main room, looking a touch harried.

"Phew! Nothing like a midnight run to make you feel alive again." Hunter said as he walked back inside, he'd been gone for almost half a day by his count, maybe something close."Hey, who's the dead guy?" Hunter asked, seeing the undead, it wasnt as bad as he'd thought it would be.
