Moonbeam purred, rubbing back and forth against his hands. Whatever she was doing, it was making him incredibly happy, and more inclined to pet her. "Mow...mrrrow..." She stopped, though, watching Al-tiger-cat submit to her. A girl could get used to this...
"Wow...giving superfood a whole new meaning," Sosol commented before looking at the board and humming in thought.
"Uh-huh!" Max nodded enthusiastically.

(my updates will slow. I'm switching to Ipod- speak, because it's too late to stare at a screen this size. listening to hartmanns yokai girl is a plus, though.)

A large magic circle appeared around the castle orb that Fenyx had placed in the main area, and Fenyx appeared out of it, smelling of dust and cleaning products, the circle fading once he was fully materialized. "Okay! The gateport seems to be working properly, and I see that it is at least linked to Barton, shouldn't take too long for my 7000 electron spirits to link it to the other gateports in the major cities." He smelled lamb stew. "That smells delicious! Can I have some?"
((Yeah... off to beds))

Howard looked up with a grin at Sosol and Max.
"Something like that, yeah. Oh, and you keep up the good work, Myras."
Laimu had now laid down on the floor so as to lay his head lightly against the kitten, seeming more like a fellow cat himself than a large man. Al-tiger brought his head back up to co.ck his head at Laimu's strange actions.
Albee sat in the corner watching the entire thing unfold from a distance, slightly perturbed by the giant man's actions...

"Fantastic!" Tyler exclaimed as he came back with a bowl of the stew. "I'll need one of your mages near the site to start the moving line; we won't be able to get them far without someone taking notice."
Moonbeam continued to purr contently, though this man was a little odd. At least he was loving...often more of felines than of people it seemed.
"You're a big cat fan, I'm guessing?" Azana asked, watching him with the Al-cat and her own pet.
"Well, as long as you label which does what, we should have no problem." Sosol smiled, leaning on the bar. "I'd ask Stella about potions, but Kristen seems to have an assignment for her already."
((Brb...gotta do a quick errand!))

Laimu opened his eyes as he noticed Azana address him. he looked to her, then to the cat, the back. He spun back into his chair in a seemingly more serious tone.
"I grew up in a house
Full of cat-allergic members.
I wished for one for Christmas...
But got very cold Decembers."
Seeing Laimu had moved, Al-tiger moved in to see if he could play with Moonbeam, nuzzling his nose into her belly.
Howard nodded.
"For sure. I'll throw in an inventory to go with the satchel of stuff, just so you can tell things apart."

((Okay... can't really sleep, ended up watching Negima... The 5th Mou Hitotsu no Sekai episode came out a couple of days ago...))
Fenyx nodded. "I don't really know much about illusory magic, but I do have that one mask... the one that, before the Magicus Wars, hadn't appeared for 280 years. It makes one unnoticeable, their sight, sound, smell, aura... As long as one is holding onto the person using the mask, or one is holding onto a person holding onto someone using the mask, it works in long chains, it can be used by someone to squirrel everyone away, get the people most likely to die otherwise away from hell as fast as possible. The user has to be pretty stable, evasive, and commanding though... You wouldn't want to break the chain in the middle of a war zone." He pulled out the mask, a rather ordinary looking masquerade mask. "Of course, as an artifact, it has matching clothing, in this case, a Victorian-era dress." He summoned and looked at the dress. "Okay... I will most certainly need my gender-change amulet if I am the infiltrator."

"We have plenty of means of making ourselves unnoticed, but the sudden disappearance of multiple inmates makes this delicate work, especially how much effort the warden gave to just one," Tyler answered before giving himself another large bite of the stew. "The less opportunity we provide for their recovery, the better."
"Ah, yeah...I could see why you love being around them so much. They seem to like you, too!" Azana said, enjoying the meal and Moonbeam's happiness.
Moonbeam gave a swift bat to Albee, tail twitching. Everything about her body language seemed to say 'not now'.

Fenyx walked over to the seemingly infinite amount of stew, and got himself a bowl. "This stew is delicious! Whoever made it, you're a good cook, better than me anyway. I can't even make toast. Yet, somehow, I can shoot fireballs out of my fingertips. The world is strange like that."

Al-tiger took the bat on the nose and whimpered, retreating and settling for a spot next to Laimu. The large man skritched Al-tiger behind the ears for a bit, but bent back down to take a seat closer to Moonbeam once more. Al-tiger was amazed by the size of Laimu, and found that he could lay over his shoulder rather easily.
"I'm very glad, thought she was mad
'Cuz every other cat thinks I'm a cad.
But this little kitten, I admit, has me smitten...
I simply hope that by her teeth, I'm not bitten..."
Albee noticed Siren and reverted to child form, walking up to her.
"Heya!"

Siren jumps a little not seeing Albee until he had spoken. She turned to him with a smile.
"Good morning Albee. How are you today? Ummm.....could you also tell me how long I have been asleep?"

Two or three days, maybe? Doesn't matter, lotsa people here fall asleep for long amounts of time! Really comfortable beds and stuff, y'know!"
