The Experiment [open/accepting]

shed watched as vondel motioned to them from were she layed , she watched Hikaru jump up and head over "i have to high a price on my head, im not risking it, expecially when hes gone back to them" she shrugged and stayed where she was on the ground as snow coated her fur, her ears perked trying to take in any sounds but none came, so she layed her head upon her paws and stayed their not taking her eyes off the house

Vondel kept a close eye on the two, making sure Hikaru would not be attacked. "The storm is getting worse. I could not let them stay out in the cold. But the worse the storm gets the faster it is over at least." Vondel chuckled gently as he sank back down by the fire.

Hikaru remained at the door, not going any further inside then she had to, she looked at the two, she had simply come inside to inspect on what all they would need, they looked like they were set, though blankets would probably be nice for them, she turned and opened the door "We will be fine, don't worry about us when it comes to storms" She said over her shoulder before she went back into the storm, closing the door behind her and returned to Kiva. "They look like they could use a few blankets, they have a fire but i think the blankets would be helpful to keep them nice and warm" She said "Do you think you have any blankets back in the tunnels, or perhaps somewhere that might hold some for them?" She asked, her head tilted to the side.

Rikaru had woken slightly as vondel shook her but didnt move feeling drained. When he got up and moved towards the door she shifted shaking lightly under then thin blanket they had been sharing. She Glanced up unnoticed at the fox as she entered. When vondel returned to sitting down she frowned a bit hurt that he was slightly farther then he had been before and pulled herself into a partial sitting position and sighed. "They dont like us..." she whispered looking at the pot. "sure they bring food but its mostly for you vondel not us." She looked into the flames letting the blanket over her shoulders drop to the floor as she rested her arms over her legs and her head on that watching through half closed eyes vondels reaction to her words if he gave one.

she stood up looking like a snowman, minus the legs and ears, she then shook off the extract snow befor she herd Hikaru coming back "hmmm blankets, blankets...blankets..... i might have some, but we has to check* she troted in a diffrent direction befor looking back at hikaru "well your about to explore my tunnel of junk, that i keep, i like to think of myself as a pack rats and fully prepared" she smerked as she entered the woods and pushed a big looking rock with her sholder to the side befor she jumped into the tunnel below, the tunnel was linned with lots of items on either side, with only a narrow walk way "keep your eye out for blankets" she murmered as she bounced along

Hikaru chuckled as she saw Kiva, she thought to herself 'frosty the snow dog' to a small tune and chuckled, following along after Kiva until they made it to another tunnel "Wow, i can see why you call yourself a pack rat, you seem to have one of everything in here, at the least!" she exlaimed "Oh! blankets, right there!" She pointed out a box labeled "Blankets" with large, fluffy looking blankets in them, perfect for the hunters. "Would those be ok to give to them?" She asked, it was what they were after but she wasn't sure if kiva wanted some other blankets or if those were the ones she wanted.

Kiva had been mindlessly digging through another pile "Razors...no......mens clothing...no...might be useful though.......wemons clothing....still not it.....hmmmm whats this?" she asked as she pulled something off the tile "eh just a table cloth, wow we have a bunch of useless junk" her ear twitched catching hikarus words and looked at the blankets, "those are just fine", she grabed about 5 blankets in her jaws and gave two to hikaru to carrie "that should be enough" she murmered around her share of the blankets befor she jumped out of the tunnel "last one out closes the tunnel" she snickered befor troting off twords the place where they had left the hunters

"Awww man!" she called out as she bounded after Kiva, the two blankets firm in her jaws as she closed up the entrance to the tunnel once more before bounding after Kiva toward the shack once more, she was getting used to the cold at this time, and she noted that she had many clumps of snow all over her fur, she looked like a walking talking snowman/fox. She shook her head to try to rid herself of some of the snow but little to none fell off as they continued on to the hunters hang out, she tried to go as fast as possible so that not too much snow would pile onto the blankets.

Kiva snickered as Hikaru padded past her, she scooped up a paw full of snow and flung it at Hikaru befor running ahead untill she reached the hideout for the hunters, she hesitated for a second befor shrugged and turning back int a human, hesitating again she pushed the door open and walked a few steps inside and set the blankets on a chair and looked at Vondel and the other hunters

Vondel smiled and walked over to Kiva before hugging her. "Thank you my friend. It would be a very cold night if it were not for you and Hikaru. Would you please care to join us?" Vondel was nearly falling asleep as it was but needed all of his friends to be safe. For some reason storms like these always made him want to sleep it away.

Her eyes darkened as she looked away from the fire. She got up slowly and moved to a hall she had watched Vondel walk down earlier. Noone had seen her it seemed and taking the blanket she moved towards any room she could find shaking lightly as she curled up against a wall. "They dont like us and wont accept our help they think ill turn them in..." She whispered tears coming to her eyes. "They think ill send them back there. I know what its like it happened to me as well" she sobbed lightly and pulled back against the wall into the shadows. "Maybe not enough to transform like them but i was tested on to they messed my dna up to.. and he let them do it."

Hikaru was right behind Kiva and placed the blankets she brought right next to the ones that her friend had brought. Though she watched as one of the hunters grabbed a blanket and walked away, she could smell the sadness on this hunter. She trotted after this hunter, she knew that she would have back up if it was a trap. She had remained in her fox form as she walked next to the girl, catching most of what the girl had said "you know, i had a feeling you were a different hunter, you had the scent that wasn't.. well it wasn't human" She muttered as she sat down next to her. Her voice was soft as she spoke, understanding "Why do you think i even bothered to help you when your ankle was hurt, sure i knew it was a trap but i also could tell from your scent you were different." She said as she nuzzled the girls neck and licked her cheek "you of all hunters know how we feel, you and vondel and that other, though your different.. your still one of the only hopes that we have to ever get away from the experimenting once and for all.." She muttered, she was thankful that even in her fox form she could speak english.

Rikaru didnt look at her and only pulled the fox onto her lap petting her softly unable to stop the tears but able to silence herself so noone else heard. "You shouldnt have followed me." she whispered. "I may know what it feels like but im dangerous I cant control alot of what i do." she let the fox go and set her down lifting her knees so she could rest her head against it and let the tears fall out of sight. "They'll take my life if i dont bring you back and use my body for other tests." she whispered choking lightly "I dont know what to do and its all his fault."

Hikaru leaned forward and licked a tear away from Rikaru's cheek "But thats the thing, no matter what they will always hold that over your head, and once you are no longer useful to them, they will dispose of you. You have to get away from them.. we are all dangerous in our own ways." she murmered, pressing herself to the girl to keep her warm, she could feel through her fur how cold this girl was, and could feel her shiver as well. "The only thing we can do for now is run... " she murmered and looked away.

Kiva hesitated for a moment as she set the blankets down and nodded "i guess i will stay for a bit" she murmered quietly as she turned back into her wolf form, she noticed Hikarus disaperance and fallowed her scent into a room with a girl, she tilted her head in confusement but shrugged, if Hikaru can trust them i can learn too she thought as she troted over to the girl on silant paws and curled up at the girls side sharing her body heat sence her kind were always warm to the touch, she layed her head on her paws and growled something at Hikaru in wolf language "im staying hear for tonight" she murmered as she curled closer to the girl then closed her eyes and layed her head on her paws to dose off
