It's a Pokemon RP! We're still kind of in testing phase. ^^;

Egg's emo senses were tingling. Young pokemon were especially sensitive to the emotions of others and right now, someone was giving off a very depressing vibe. The Eggling curled up into even more of a fetal position. Lyn didn't sense that stuff at all. She just saw a little pink thing waddling across the floor as fast as it could. It almost made it to the door when Lyn stepped in it's way and picked it up. "Hello, little guy. Who are you?"  

[Its-a-Lyn]

Professor Cute was quite confused by the girl that picked him up. But he didn't mind, as long as she could get him out of there. He climbed into the bag she had and hid in there.

Hmm...little guy sure is frightened. He must be hidding from something. Well, I can't let a little pokemon be hurt, so I'll just have to give it to Nurse Joy. She'll know what to do. And I can get my pokemon back if they're done being healed. Lyn walked up to the counter after she had finished her reasoning. "Hey, Nurse Joy? Are my pokemon ready to go? I know I just gave them to you but...I kinda need to go find my friends. One of them seems very depressed and I am greatly worried for her life." Lyn set her bag on the counter. "And I found this little guy." She unzipped the bag and showed her the Cleffa who was snuggled against egg. "Huh? Now how did he...!?" Nurse Joy puzzled over the unnoticed escape of the Cleffa. "...Hey! You're a pokemon trainer, right? You must go all over the place. This little guy's owner is Professor Redwood, he works in Littleroot but I couldn't get a hold of him. I'll give you your pokemon back, but could you do me a favor? Please take this little guy back to Professor Redwood. Maybe your friends could help too." Lyn agreed and took Tiger and Mr. Worm. They exited the Pokemon Center, Mr. Worm in his pokeball, Tiger by Lyn's side, Professor Cute in Lyn's bag and Egg in its shell.

Karen slowly nodded at Aeris, still concerned about the other girl's condition. "Okay, but just let me know if I can do anything for you... like if you feel like you might be getting too tired say something so we can go rest. I don't want anything to happen to you, I've only just met you. I haven't gotten to know you well enough yet!"  

[Semu Namu]

Tsukasa dazidly stared out at the water from the rock she was sitting on. She couldn't decide if moving out of Slateport City was the best idea so soon. She watched her underlings carefully, all playing on the sandy beach. Tsukasa herself was carefully shaded by an overhead rock, whilst she watched some of the ladies play vollyball, or tan, or simply enjoy the water. Instead of ruining the rest of the day with her brooding, she jumped off her rocky perch and ran over to the girls to play vollyball too.

Lyn walked back to the other girls. They hadn't moved much. Lyn knew what to do. she would let the dark thing come with them if she agreed not to be so depressing in fact. Lyn would only take her with her if she could tell a joke, that seemed reasonable to Lyn. Just one joke shouldn't be too hard. Lyn approached Karen, "Um...Karen...sorry I yelled at you but...it's just...so...DRAMATIC!"

Karen caught sight of Lyn walking out of the center and stopped. She shyly stared at her, worried that her friend was still mad at her. She was thinking about approaching Lyn and asking why she had yelled at her when suddenly Lyn came up to her and apologized. "Eh? Oh.. oh! That's alright Lyn! Wait, dramatic? What's that supposed to mean? What is dramatic? I'm confused now."

Lyn looked at Aeris. "Well...hrm..." She moved in closer to Karen and whispered, "I was given a mission by Nurse Joy and I'd like everyone to go, safety in numbers, you know? Anyways, that girl with black hair is quite depressing, she's creating drama. I can't handle that unless it's on television. So I thought that if she could tell a joke, she could come. But if not...we might have to ditch her."

Karen's eyes widened slightly as she said in a rather loud voice, "A mission? Really?! What is it, Lyn?" Then the other part of what Lyn said registered in her mind. "Oh, but Lyn, I couldn't leave Aeris... I just couldn't. But... it would be nice to see her tell a joke, so why not? I bet even she could do it!" Karen whispered back to her.  

[SephiLyn]

"SSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Lyn hushed Karen. "You're not suppose to tell!!!!!" Lyn then turned to Aeris, "Hey! You! Depressed one! I have something special but you're only allowed in on the secret if you can tell a joke!" Tiger walked over to Cosette and told her what was the secret was in pokelanguage.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

Aeris glanced from Karen to Lyn, sensing their intentions. anger grew inside of her, that they would make her do this. Obviously they really didn't care much about her if they were placing such restrictions on joining them. So what if she was unhappy? A lot of people were unhappy. But she didn't want to leave, and she knew that in order to stay she would have to fake happy some more.

Han suggested a joke in her mind and Aeris dutifuly repeated it through grit teeth, silently cursing her new "friends".

"A man walked into a bar."

Clyde wandered around Dewford. The island was just the same, nothing for someone like him to do. All the cool people had some sort of water pokemon, but Clyde...he just had a lonely, abnormal Cubone. The little creature had the habit of following him around and tugging on his shirt to get attention, it scared away all the girls. Clyde couldn't take it! He had to get a water pokemon, Cubone was cramping his style.

Meanwhile, in Rustboro...

A little Ralts walked around. Her owner let her do that a lot. She knew he wanted to trade her for something that was "cooler", something stronger. After all, she could barely attack. With a sigh, she continue her walk.  

[SephiLyn]

"...Was it a GAY BAR!!!!????" Lyn pestered, closing in on Aeris, listening intently and waiting for the rest of the joke. Tiger was rather ashamed that Lyn would do this and apologized to Han for his trainers rude behaviour.

Karen silently watched as Aeris attempted to tell the joke. The other girl really didn't seem happy at all to be doing this. In fact, she seemed sort of angry about it. She really wanted to say something to interrupt this painful experience for Aeris, but Karen knew that this was the only way that Lyn would accept her.

Karen laughed nervously at Lyn's outburst, knowing that it would just make Aeris even more angry. She mouthed an apology to Aeris, hoping that she would know it was sincere.

Cosette listened to Tiger explain what was going on and rolled her eyes. Human's were so strange sometimes, she could never fully understand their behavior.  

[Fade_the_Pyro]

"Sure, why not." Aeris's eyes flashed dangerously at them all as she responded to Lyn. She noticed Karen's apology and was silently grateful, but too angry to care at the moment. Aeris felt that the girls apology was nothign more than an excuse, and not sincere at all. Oh well, at least Aeris could pretend it was sincere and feel better about this whole situation.
