Hopping for the slice, he made quick work of it, soon looking at Baldur, eyes brimming with joy. Finally, a big person who wasn't just cooing at him!
M.E. hopped over beside Frtiz, sitting on the belly, feeling for motion as well.

Baldur chuckled.
"You know what you want!" he gave another piece and looked at him with a smile. For a second he looked up, wondering if Zulma needed him...
"Thank you MacPere...I don't know if the ultrasound will help any..." She smiled at the warmth of his hands on her stomach and chuckled at M.E.
"They have been quick reckless lately..." she said tenderly. "I think that this will be time soon..."
She paused.
"I just wished Baldur would understand..." for the first time since...forever...she added in a whisper. "Why did Angeles have to interfere...?"

Having finished nearly an entire nectarine on his own, despite the fruit proper outweighing him by a lot, Eri devoured the rest eagerly before plopping onto the counter, looking spent, little belly distended.

Zulma smiled through her tears. Despite all, she did love Baldur with all her heart.
She did not need to be married. But she was a romantic like every woman and she had dreamed of a white gown and merry reception...
The babies had come too soon, despite her pill which had not worked. Not that she did not want those babies, she just...did not feel ready.
The twins seemed to be reacting to MacPere for they turned as he put his ear.
"Can you hear them?"
Baldur's pock at the chibi was more of a caress. "You look happy..." he whispered.

Zulma felt so comfortable that her tears dried up and she smiled. One hand gently stroke the cat while her other was tenderly on MacPere's hair.
"Thank you..." she whispered.
Without warning, she fell asleep, warm and loved.

A magic circle appeared around the castle orb, and a few cured inmates walked out of it, along with Sentinel, Ayase, and Fenyx. "We've been running around non-stop, trying to save these people from the asylum, which we once thought was on fire, though the source of the information, namely the idiot mage next to me, is rather questionable." Fenyx sighed, tiredness flooding his body. "Aaaand, we've been healing magical burns, wounds, and maladies the entire... time... It's not easy when they won't heal through natural regeneration and you have to heal every single wound, even for me... What type of torture devices did they use in there, anyway?" He pulled out one of his cards, activating it. A ridiculously large hypodermic needle appeared in his arms, mostly empty, but what was in there was a potent magical catalyst. "Ayase... please..." Ayase took the needle, muttering something about this situation being ridiculous, and stabbed Fenyx in the thigh with it, injecting some of the fluid into his bloodstream. Fenyx immediately perked up, sparks flowing from his hands, the needle's mark healing immediately. "Okay! Back to business!~" He transferred a large amount of the energy to the other two, who also perked up, and they went back through the gateport to his castle to continue their objective. The inmates who arrived at the Inn then left to go to the nearby city, teleporting away using certain scrolls that Fenyx gave them.

"I'm sorry it's so exhaustin'," Max said from her station before all the windows went black. Azana's work, no doubt. "You're bein' a huge lifesaver, though...Enta over there's all thanks to you." She gestured to the sleeping catboy, his slumber obviously haunted by nightmares of what he had been through. "Ty and Sol should be headin' out soon with some of the rest...Az and Gren are still stuck with the solitaries, not that I'll know their movements anymore. They're on their own now."
